Stayed Aug 7, 2025The house was okay overall, but needs some attention. The inaccessible areas were strange and in disrepair, the back patio is falling apart (probably a safety hazard for children), and the house retains a bit of that old carpet smell from times before.A few other issues were the water in the Keurig looked nasty so we wouldn't use it, the air conditioner exhausts being taped to a film over the windows is not proper installation, and it would be really nice to have the dishwasher repaired or replaced.All that being said, it's a 3-star not a 1-star. There were clean sheets and towels, the beds and furniture was comfortable, and we still had a great time at Bemus Point!

Stayed Aug 15, 2025House doesn’t have much curb appeal in the pictures but inside had everything we needed and better. Beds, shower, towels, and amenities were better than most we have stayed in and we had ample room for 6. Things could still use a little TLC but we were close to everything we needed and the owner was attentive and thoughtful. We really appreciated the wine and coffee, Mike, thank you!

Stayed Aug 3, 2024This is a great property. Quiet, clean, simple. This was my home base during a week at Chautauqua Institution. Just minutes away, it was more affordable and located in the lovely Bemus Point community.

Stayed Aug 25, 2023Host communicated very well. The rental had many new items purchased by the owner. Great proximity to the lake and restaurants.
