Stayed Sep 1, 2022Very clean and spacious. The owner communicated very well by email in advance. The water pressure from the shower was quite weak but it was understandable considering the location. Overall it was great.

Stayed Aug 18, 2025Awesome little cabin oasis away from everyone else in the Yoho national Park. Close enough to town to have dinner and get what ever is needed without wasting time to do so. Cabin is what you imagine a log cabin to be. Some creeks and noises when moving around. Very homey and unique.

Stayed Jul 18, 2023We LOVED this cabin! It felt like the perfect summer retreat. The cabin was cozy, spacious and had a wonderful grill, super comfortable beds, lovely views. We melted into wonderful family time. We went to the suggested spots- the Burgess Shale Hike, which was one of the trip highlights, Emerald Lake, and the Skybridge at Golden. Fantastic cabin- we highly recommend!

Stayed Jul 15, 2023Two couples stayed three nights and found everything excellent. The cabin is large enough for 5-6 pax and offers enough room to spread out. The full kitchen was spotless and we have enough cooking utensils and sundries (though with only 4 wine glasses, we had to be extra careful!). The wall furnishings merit special mention, with authentic First Nations weapons and Old West-themed items, plus a few taxidermy examples, really adding to the atmosphere. The gas grill was spotless and we used it three nights running. The grill doesn't cook super hot, but otherwise was fine. The location is 20km outside Golden and 40km (in the other direction) from premier Yoho NP attractions. We would all happily stay again!
