Stayed Nov 28, 2024I really loved this property and I would book it again in a heartbeat! The floorplan includes a large downstairs bedroom as well as a full bathroom with a shower. The bedroom has a door that leads outside to the back yard. The threshold for the shower is low so mobility issues are minimized. There were plenty of towels, hand soap, and shower gel in each bathroom. Downstairs, there is a hairdryer. There are no hand rails up the stairs.Upstairs, the second bathroom and four bedrooms. The bedrooms were all similar, although one had access to a balcony that overlooks the backyard. The heat in the house worked so well that we found ourselves closing vents. The beds were comfy. Some rooms had bed side tables that also charged via USB. While upstairs, there was a vent that pumped scented air near the main hub of the bedrooms. My group found this pleasant, but if you are sensitive to scents, I'd alert Niagara Hospitality.Another review talked about the neighborhood, but I only saw a neighborhood improving. I felt safe the entire time and had zero concerns about the location. Yeah there are some homes that aren't maintained as well, but there is no graffiti, no loud noises, and no one speeding. When you visit, please check the city for parking regulations for this road as they change seasonally. This home is close to so many amenities (coffee, restaurants, the casino, etc.).

Stayed Oct 4, 2024DON’T believe the pictures!!! The neighborhood has several boarded up houses and others in various states of disrepair. Both neighbors house are in a state of disrepair or abandoned. The porch and front of the house are fine, but the backyard and back porch are a mess and unusable. The inside is relatively fixed up with new floors and furniture, but don’t look out the windows or thru the windows. The plumbing, HVAC, and Wi-Fi work well. The house is one mile from the falls. The windows are filthy, there is dirt sitting between the two, and the exterior has flaking paint. We notice that all curtains were closed when we came inside and found out that there was a reason for that. There is no handrail going up the steps to the 2nd floor. There are no lamps in any of the bedrooms and the overhead lamp on the fan unit does not luminate sufficiently. Each room has a small bedside table and no dressers/bureaus for clothes. Closets are not finished and are dirty. Grout between the tiles in both bathrooms is sloppy and smeared, and in places is missing - several cracks that should have caulk or grout. The upstairs bathroom does have and the shower floor does not slope to the drain such that there is standing water. The back door to the 1st floor is locked, which is a fire code violation, because the front door would be our only exit. There is a crack under this door and on our last night a mouse came into the house. We were not at all comfortable staying in the house.
