Stayed Jan 26, 2024Wonderful location with stunning views, the hot tub is amazing, and the host left a lovely gift for us to enjoy. Unfortunately there were 9 people in our group and although this is advertised as having 9 beds, the “double sofa bed” is actually just a normal lounge and doesn’t convert to a bed at all. When we removed the cushions from the lounge (trying to work out how to convert it to a “sofa bed” as advertised), there were Picnic wrappers and crumbs and a large amount of loose pretzels and even some dirty linen hiding in there. This was particularly concerning as one of our group is anaphylactic to peanuts so we spent the first hour of our stay thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the lounge. Then we had to just put a sheet over the top of it as it doesn’t convert and is not a bed. I communicated my disappointment to the host and he did agree to refund part of the price. If you have fewer than nine people and no allergy concerns, I would recommend this accommodation as the views are lovely and the location is perfect. If you are planning on using all of the available beds, be aware there are fewer than advertised.
