Stayed Oct 27, 2023Hot tub. Great location. Safe and secure. Several kitchen items were chipped and should not be used. Unit was very dusty and needed a good cleaning.

Stayed Dec 23, 2025The single beds were terribly uncomfortable. But that room was deliciously dark.The kitchen was so dark I brought the floor lamp into the kitchen to see the stove. There is a missing stove light. We only discovered the kitchen window light Friday night. A floor plan with light switches would be very helpful. The living room was lovely and inviting. The hot tub was heavenly. The bathrooms were fine. The porch is inviting. We arrived after dark. It was so dark! I can’t remember if the porch light was on but that would definitely be helpful for greeting arrivals.

Stayed Jun 30, 2025Our family had a great stay. Less than 10 minutes from Fall Creek Falls State Park and about 50 minutes from Rock Island State Park. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking all day!

Stayed Jan 1, 2025The cabin is spacious and clean. It is well-furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, including a pizza stone with a serving rack. The area is quiet and peaceful. There are a few things to note:1) lack of pantry space. We stayed for a few days and when unpacking noticed all of the cabinets were full and had to store our dry goods on the counter and shelf on the wall of the dining area. It is a personal thing for me as it made the space feel cluttered.2) Blinds in the bedroom let in light. It was hard to sleep as lights from the neighboring houses still came in at night. I ended up putting a blanket over the headboard to block out the light. It also made me question the privacy of the blinds, if I could see out, could others see in.3) Lastly, in the winter there is no privacy on the deck due to the trees being bare. Nothing that can be controlled but something guests should be aware of when using the hot tub and back deck.Overall this pace was great. There were just a few minor things that stood out. Will we stay in the particular cabin again? Maybe, maybe not but we WILL check out others from this owner. They were attentive and great to work with throughout our entire stay.
