This home has a maximum occupancy of 12 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 10 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per each additional guest. We had a great stay. It was our first time in Marathon and it was great. Close to Sombrero Beach. Quiet area. The house is large and comfy. We had easy access to Key West and snorkeling. Host was responsive and helpful. House very clean and well-organized.

We absolutely loved our stay at Reel Relaxin' It was a great centrally located house for activities in the Keys. Close enough to the beach for easy walking. Also close to grocery store and main shopping area. There were plenty of dishes for cooking, enabling us to save some on eating out so much. I think the only thing missing was a potato peeler, not a big deal overall! Our family really enjoyed our stay, this is a place we would recommend for big families and will return in the future if in the area! Thank you Coco Plum!

    This is not managed by a single owner, and instead CocoPlum is the property manager. They harass you the moment you reserve with endless emails outside of Vrbo including the roster of visitors, talk about privacy invasion! There were many financial penalty threats along the way too, like early check in, if you forget to take trash barrel to curb, if you turn the a/c below 72, accidental damage so they can take from deposit, if you have an unapproved visitors, perhaps more I didn’t pay attention to all. The worst part was that it was very unstocked. We had to purchase toilet paper, paper towel and dish machine pellets.

    the area under the house needs a broom left at the property to move the water after the rains. The steps going down outside from the pool area are very slick me and my grandson feel going down these steps. I fell all the way from 4 step to the bottom. Man that is still hurting me today. the washer and dryer were very nice to have.When the A/C guys came out they had to take a knife to open the door to get to the A/C unit. Also took the hanger thing down in master bedroom to get in ceiling checking out the noise on the A/C unit. The #1 thing i had a big problem with was the trouble bed in master bedroom. Its like a cow laid in the middle of the bed get a new bed come on. The kitchen needs more cooking stuff. The ceiling in bathroom off the kitchen had water pouring out on to the floor. After dinner we all looked for where the water was coming from. We found it was coming from shower in walk in shower in master bedroom. Please fix the walk lighting going out to the dock. Pool was great living room was very large needs bigger couch for more people to set at. All in all fix the house and slipping areas and dock, and area would be nice. We enjoyed the rooms and the sq footage of the house. People building the house next door were very nice. I believe 12,500.00 is a big ask for this house for 2 weeks or any older house like it is.

    Overall, it was a really amazing vacay. Great communication keeping us informed of trash days & such and I'd say a near perfect location, with the access to open waters, and plenty of space to relax inside AND outside, allowing everyone a chance to get away even while being together. This was a very beautiful sprawling home. Definitely a plus that it had grass for our pup (lots of places don't, and we never gave it thought til the year our girl made it clear she was NOT happy with the gravel n rocks she was expected to walk all over). Nice short little walk to Sombrero beach (saving parking money) in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The bottom outdoor hangout spot was spacious, the perfect place to feel the breeze of the keys while watching TV and relaxing.. and having the dock for our boat, an ice machine and bait freezer was a huge bonus for us since we always come ready to fish. The Publix and Walgreens being right there was also amazing (especially when you need to run to the store mid dinner to buy a can opener - don't worry we left it, it's red, you're welcome lol)? only a few other little things like paying a cleaning fee and then showing up and there was trash including liquor bottles and cigar remnants (wrappers and half cigars) all over the dock and outdoor area, and very little in the way of plastic aka 'safe' dinnerware (but plenty of coffee filters) ?... It was overall a beautiful home where our family made amazing memories. Marathon has our heart. Thank you!

    This home had many nice unique and expensive features that we enjoyed. The master suite had an unbelievable closet which made our stay very organized. The shower was a large walk in that didn't need a door. Double vanities were great. Kitchen was very convenient and beautiful and it was stocked very well, The main floor had many rooms off by themselves which made for a quiet retreat when others were active, We enjoyed the fireworks from the patio off from the beautiful pool. Pool furniture was beautiful and comfortable. LIving room was very large and comfortable, Games left for the kids were enjoyed. we stayed here with our two adult child families and had more than enough room(6 adults, 4 children). Furnishings were updated and designed well, There is an outside kitchen area that we did not use but wich we did.

    Big spacious house with all the needs. If you are out boating great to have a peer in excellent conditions and very near the sea exit and the reef. The master bed was hammocked and the sheets past a due change. The house although functional, needs some attention (ie change bed, fix leaky faucets, unclog the sink, fix AC in one of the extra rooms). But it’s the owners problem and we had Blast all around and enjoyed ourselves. Also good is the centrally located to downtown (Publix) and walking distance to the beach.
