Great place to stay in Sedona. The house was clean and well-equipped, and the host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely book again.

My best friend and I LOVED this home. It was her first visit to Sedona and I have been a handful of times. This home alone gave such a wonderful first impression of Sedona for her. This is such a nice home, great location, so comfortable from the layout to the comfy beds, it was clean and so cute! We enjoyed the outdoor area everyday. She would sip coffee by the fire out back and we would sip wine and look up at the stars at night. Communication with the owners was so easy and the home had all of the essentials. The owners were so thoughtful and so nice. They left snacks for hikes and a delicious bottle of wine to help us start off our trip. We did not bring our fur babies but they would have loved it if we did. It is so well thought out for travel with dogs from the doggie doors, to the yard and the plush dog beds. If I could give it 6 stars I would! I will definitely stay here again if it is available.

Absolutely loved our stay! The entire home & yard exceeded our expectations. Communication with Jonathan was easy & quick. The deck was the best place to enjoy early morning coffee & the backyard was ideal to enjoy the stars & fire pit. Awesome place when including pets in your travel plans. Location was ideal! We like staying at rental properties. We've had a lot of nice experiences. This home, by far is our best experience to date for a lot of reasons...well kept, well appointed, very clean, amazing outdoor space, dog friendly x10, friendly hosts, great neighhood...I could go on and on. We will definitely rent this property again.

We stayed at Red Mountain Shadows Retreat for an anniversary trip. The house truly had all the comforts of home! The host has gone much further than typical vacation rentals with the attention to detail and extreme cleanliness inside and out. Everything was supplied that we could possibly need. We ate every meal on the peaceful deck, rather than deal with the crowded restaurants. The shower was fantastic! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved how close the house is to Whole Foods, Safeway, and restaurants. Lifesavers for us-Chocolatree and Picazzo's are all or almost all gluten free and celiac friendly. There was a thoughtful welcome basket with snacks and wine. We highly recommend!!

House was perfect for a family and their pet. Plenty of indoor and outdooor space. I especially liked the neighborhood quiet hours. Great communication with the hosts.

Although lacking character or funkiness, a nice, newer and comfortable house with many amenities in a convenient location. The dog loved the outside doggie play area.

Excellent stay! The cabin was exceptionally clean and even better than the photos — they truly don’t do it justice. The backyard was beautiful with plenty of open space for the kids and our dog to run and play. We loved our time here and would definitely come back

Jonathan and Sara were wonderful hosts and check in was very easy. The house was extremely clean (and I’m very picky) and the information provided about the area was very useful. Check out directions were very clear and the whole experience was fantastic. The dog potty area was a huge plus and even that area was super clean! The house itself was very comfortable and cozy.. I will definitely stay there again the next time I’m in Sedona!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! We travel with three large dogs and it is always a challenge to find a house that will allow us to stay with them. This place had a yard with a fenced in dog run, provided dog beds, and a water bowl. My babies were so happy and comfortable! This house is also in the perfect location. If we come back to Sedona we will be staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay even without our dog, though it was exceptionally well set up to accommodate dogs! House was thoughtfully well stocked and maintained. Owner was very kind and his communication was excellent. The home was centrally located and accommodated 2 couples comfortably. The outdoor areas were so nice, but we didn’t take much advantage of it because we had a lot of rain and thunderstorms.

As a regular vacation home renter, I can say, without hesitation, that this is the most pet-friendly place we’ve ever rented. It’s clear the owners love their fur babies as much as we do. But this isn’t just a terrific pet-friendly home, it’s a terrific home - period. The deck and yard, in particular, are AMAZING - even larger and more beautiful than the photos depicted. The master bath shower? Love. The added touches - the welcome basket and wine, the swift and responsive communication with owners - make this rental even more special. We will be staying again!

Home is in a great location. Wonderfully updated. Perfect for one or two couples. And if you have a dog this is the ultimate property. The house must give off great dog vibes because our dogs immediately felt like they were home. Dog beds, dog door, and dog run made it safe to leave the dogs while we explored Sedona. We will 100% stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is amazing and we enjoyed all the thoughtful touches. It is very clean and comfortable. My dogs loved the large backyard. The host is very accommodating and the location is great. We plan to stay here again in the future!

We have stayed in several VRBO rentals, and I have to say that this one exceed every single one. The host responded to all my questions, literally, within minutes. The house was as described, super clean and had all the things one would need: spices, toilet paper, paper towels, dish and hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, you name it. They even provided Starbucks whole bean coffee and a grinder.The beds and pillows were very comfortable - I think more comfortable than my own! The A/C was easy to control and kept that house comfortable.We only ate breakfast in and we had everything we needed to prepare it before heading out to hike and explore. The location could not have been more perfect. We were within 20 minutes of every trailhead we wanted to explore, and the proximity to Whole Foods and several great restaurants was perfect.Our family brought two dogs and they had everything we needed for our furry companions. My husband appreciated the dedicated workspace and large monitor so he could do a little work while we were there. The neighborhood was quiet and we even spotted a coyote pack and several deer walking out front on two separate early mornings. If we ever get back to Sedona again, we will absolutely stay at this property!

Really charming sedona house with great outdoor space.

This was our second stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the first! The deck and patio are great for people and dogs to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, and proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. The nearby dog park and trailheads are an added bonus!

Perfect stay in Sedona with our 2 Golden Retrievers. Great communication with the hosts - they have a notebook of places to go and things to do in Sedona. This was our 2nd month long stay at this property and we really feel it has become our second home. We love everything about this home and wouldn’t change a thing. The newest patio space with a fire table is amazing and provides a great space for morning, mid day and evening relaxing. Gorgeous home, well supplied, fantastic yard and deck opportunities for relaxing in the sun. Unlike many vrbos where you need to get your own supplies, Jonathon provides everything you could possibly need. I will definitely return.

We had a wonderful time at Red Mountain Shadows. It was the perfect location to get to paths, grocery stores, uptown, and everything Sedona has to offer. The yard offered perfect privacy to relax after a day of hiking, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back - thank you!

We loved the house. It was very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor space too. It was nice being able to bring the dog. The dog door and dog run made it very convenient. It was nice to know that the hosts are dog people themselves. The hosts responded quickly if we had a question and also mapped out a great route for us to take the dog on a long walk. We would definitely stay here again with or without dog!

This house is a gem. Wonderful location, with all the amenities you need. Removed from the hustle and bustle of uptown Sedona, but still close to many trails and sites, with the Sugarloaf Mountain trailhead only a short walk away. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you need and more. The large backyard and fire pit were a great addition and well used after days of hiking the trails (also a great spot for star gazing!) The hosts were very responsive and the check in process was easy. Truly a home away from home.

We absolutely loved our stay - everything was fantastic! The house was in a great location, close to Mariposa for dinner and a short drive to downtown. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was easy to find. We appreciated the detailed information packet, gift basket, and extra items to help with our dogs also.
