Loved our stay, such a beautiful property!

What a great experience. Stayed for the winter solstice and everything about the cabin is great. Firewood seasoned and ready to use. All of the kitchen utensils are top notch and it felt like home. Cross country ski right out the back door onto the lake. We’ll be back for a summer stay for sure!

This was our second stay, and we enjoyed it so much! It is just such a great cabin space, and the property is very quiet and lovely.

My husband and I loved staying at this cabin for our anniversary. The outdoor area is spacious, well kept, and private. We loved building campfires every day and getting to sit by the water. It was incredibly peaceful. Having a full kitchen was great too. The cabin felt very equipped with both necessities and entertainment. Our biggest regret is not booking a longer stay

It was one of my favorite places I've stayed. The road was rough getting there, but once there, it was secluded and quiet. My mom passed away last week and this place was just what l needed. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Linda

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin by the lake. The cabin was clean, spacious and very well maintained. We loved sitting by the fire and watching the northern lights at the dock. Thank you again

A beautiful, quiet, comfortable spot on the lake. We enjoyed time canoeing on the lake, having camp fires, and relaxing, as well as hiking at several of the state parks along the Superior shore. A great week! We even caught a few fish from the dock.

So quiet, loons in the morning and evening. Spent time on the lake in our kayaks. Watched a storm roll in. Perfect get away

This was a very nice place for a little getaway. The road in was a little rougher than anticipated, even without any snow. Definitely recommend a 4wd or awd vehicle no matter the time of year. But otherwise the cabin was very clean and had a rustic feel to it. The view from the dock was gorgeous. Definitely plan to come back at some point!

What a pretty spot! Down a long unpaved road to privacy and comfort. Windows on every side for pretty views and cross breezes. Plenty of wood for the stove, and a well-equipped kitchen. Liked the concrete floors and open floor plan on the first floor, comfortable bedrooms and second hang out area on the second floor. We cooked in the mornings and then headed out for sightseeing and hiking, then Grand Marais for early dinner before heading back for a relaxing evening under the stars. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

This is a remote cabin, surrounded by timber and lake. It is a great place to relax and recharge. The cabin is comfortable and has modern conveniences (including internet). Grand Marais is a 20-25 minute drive. The lake is peaceful and gorgeous (we did not have much luck fishing, but maybe next time). We enjoyed hiking, bird watching, and picking wild flowers. I already miss our daily coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise. Owners/managers were easy to work with, and very accommodating after we had a family emergency and had to reschedule. I recommend a visit to this little piece of tranquility.

We had a wonderful Time in this lovely, quiet, off the beaten trail Cabin. We saw the Northern Lights, wildlife while kayaking and caught a few fish. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place. Well kept. Fires in the living room was the best. Coffee in the morning staring at the lake was so relaxing Rocky shoreline hard for kids to swim

We loved hanging out on the dock and made great use of the canoe. The cabin is so pretty, and the lake is wonderful. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and while it’s great to unplug, we also enjoyed watching movies as a family. Great vacation!

Beautiful property!

This property was an amazing home base for our anniversary trip. I so enjoyed exploring the cabin and grounds and discovering all the thoughtful touches it had to offer. It was clean, well supplied, and had many activities and resources to help make our stay great. My favorite souvenir is a print of the painting I fell in love with in the dining room. Be sure to check out the local galleries. We're already dreaming of our next stay at the red fox cabin.

Cabin was clean and very quiet which was what we we’re looking for. Not a place to watch TV which didn’t work but we didn’t want TV anyways since this area is for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, Canoeing and Boating.
