Recent remodel, 2 King Beds, 5-star reviews, Close to OSU, Zoo & More!

I had a generally decent stay, but there were a few issues that I feel need to be mentioned.First, the location wasn’t ideal. There was a steady amount of traffic with cars constantly passing by, which made it noticeably louder than expected and took away from the overall comfort.The biggest concerns for me were around the cleaning expectations and charges. I paid a cleaning fee upfront, so I didn’t expect to be responsible for doing chores like washing sheets and towels myself. I was asked to put them in the washer before leaving, which is something I’ve never had to do at any other stay, especially when a cleaning fee is already being charged.On top of that, I was also charged a high amount for a small spill (a Monster drink). That felt excessive and not proportional to the situation, particularly considering the cleaning fee that was already paid.The stairway in the property is also very narrow, which could be inconvenient or even a concern for guests, especially when carrying luggage.To be fair, the host was professional and communication was clear and timely throughout the stay. However, when it came to the issue with the spill, I didn’t feel like there was much effort to understand things from a guest’s perspective, which was disappointing.Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but the added expectations and extra charges took away from what could have been a much better stay.

Very clean, nicely furnished location! Super easy check in and great communication with host. We enjoyed our stay! Our only note would be, this is located on a major road so road noises are considerable if you happen to be a light sleeper - but they do have a white noise machine! Overall lovely stay!

House is very clean, beds are extremely comfortable, TV in each room, large open seating area, fabulous shower head pressure, and Brian is very responsive!

Christmas week—we stayed at this wonderfully clean and well-provisioned twin and we would stay here again. It’s close to our kids & grandkids so we were only really sleeping here. This is a very clean place. And the beds are really comfortable. There’s some street noise but that is easily solved by using your cell phone and playing some ocean waves/white noise. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, easy to use, great space for hanging out with family

Very accommodating host, easy entry. Clean, if quite musty smelling (it’s an older home). Very quiet. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning/heating. Bedrooms and bathroom are on the second floor up some steep stairs. It’s an older duplex that has been updated so that puts some limits on the set up. I would say that if you are older and have trouble with stairs, this is probably not a very great set up for you. Nice updated kitchen. Could have used more basics (glasses, cups, plates, silverware). We did have to run dishwasher every day in order to have cups, glasses etc for breakfast next morning and there were only two of us. Laundry is great with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided. It is down some steep stairs in the basement.We really appreciated the good communication with our host!

Comfortable

House was nicely remodeled. Very clean and comfortable

House and host great, but location is noisy. Front door is about 30 feet from a busy street and bedrooms use window air conditioners. It wasn’t sirens, just constant traffic sound. House nicely appointed, pretty, and comfortable. Unusual that “rules” have us strip the beds, take sheets downstairs and start the washer. Isn’t that why we pay a cleaning fee?

Great property in a good location. The grocery store (Kroger) and highway (315) were very close as was OSU. The house was well equipped and comfortable. Brian was a great host and quickly resolved the one little glitch we had -- with the entry keypad. Would definitely stay here again.

great location,near anything

Easy booking and check in/out process, the place is so cute and comfortable! We stayed for a concert at Ohio Stadium, so it’s a great location. The beds are SUPER comfy, I even asked where they were from.

This property was great. It was close to everything that we needed to get to. The host was great and communication was easy. I would stay here again if I came to Columbus.

Very nice property in good condition. Near great walking/biking trails. A little difficult backing out of the driveway due to road traffic, but that is a minor annoyance.

Very clean and cute refurbished place, well stocked with things for cooking, saw a couple of deer in the back yard - pretty cool. Beds were comfy, laundry on site was helpful. Centrally located to family and events.Only slight complaint that the bathroom is on the second floor but, it worked.

Nice property for a weekend stay, a little hard to get in and out of due to traffice, but other wise very enjoyable stay!!

Beautiful renovation of this house led to a lovely weekend and a relaxing getaway. We cooked our meals there and had a good time playing games and building a puzzle on the table.

Stayed here for tournament. This was exactly as described. House is clean and updated. 2nd floor bathroom only. The only issue we had was street traffic. 35 mph evidently is suggested. It’s best to back into driveway due to traffic.

We stayed here for the weekend. My family and I travelled from Michigan. First off the house was very clean, the layout was outstanding, and we loved the overall “feel” of the place. It was very cozy.Very convenient location. Getting in and out was a breeze. Very. Entrally located for just about everything. I’ll never stay anywhere else if I visit Columbus again.

We booked this house for an event at the Schottenstein Center. It was a convenient location and also close to restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops in Clintonville that were all wonderful. Kroger is down the road as well. Clean house and good communicationwith the owner!

The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools and appliances to make family meals a breeze. The living spaces were cozy and spacious, allowing our entire family to relax and enjoy quality time together.One of the highlights for us was how thoughtful the amenities were. Traveling with a 3-year-old can sometimes be challenging, but this home made it effortless. From child-friendly furniture to safe spaces to play, it was clear the owners put a lot of care into accommodating families of all sizes.The outdoor areas were just as incredible. Whether it was enjoying our morning coffee on the front porch, playing with the little one in the yard, or having dinner in the beautiful kitchen, every moment here was memorable.This property truly exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm, making it an ideal getaway for families like ours. We’re already looking forward to booking again and can’t recommend it enough!

Brian (owner) was responsive and friendly. The house was very clean and comfortable. We had a family visit and found that every place we wanted to go was convenient to the location.

Excellent location, very clean and modern. Communication with the owner Brian was outstanding. My son and I had a wonderful experience at this place, it had everything we needed and more. My only complaint was the amount of traffic on the street (which cannot be controlled). Other than that it was great and if we come back we’ll stay here for sure!

In all my stays with VRBO, I have yet to find a host who was as dedicated to ensure a pleasant stay as Brian! The place is also very cosy and just couple of blocks from Kroger. The bathroom is very nice , but you have to rate care not to run the washer or dishwasher while taking a bath.From check in to check out, he made sure everything was taken care of. Two king beds are just awesome and were so comfortable !
