The view was incredible, we saw whales from the front porch. The house has everything one needs and more, comfortable, spacious, very cheerful and close to the harbor

We had the absolute best time at this property! View was amazing, going to bed to the sound of crashing waves-well stocked kitchen and we zipped to multiple beaches easily and down to the redwood forest easily too! Perfect base of operations for so many things to do. Bedding was Luxurious, tons of towels and blankets and enough space to really spread out. Our kids set 3 new all time records on the video game machine :)

Excellent property. Everything seemed new. The location was ideal. Beautiful full view of the ocean with two decks, one being for the master bedroom. Plenty of toys for kids and adults. It would have been nice to know that the property manager provides insurance so the renter needn’t bother. I bought coverage through Vrbo that was redundant. Communication on when entry info would be available could have been more timely and complete but in the end it was very simple.

The property has beautiful views and is in a quiet, peaceful area where the only thing you can really see or hear is the ocean. Lovely backyard and deck area that’s fully gated so that kiddos can run around and play freely outside while the adults relaxed on the Adirondack chairs, and lots of fun game options inside for colder weather entertainment. Overall the house is extremely family friendly and somewhere my kids have already asked to revisit in the future.

Family vacation was spectacular in this update Brookings home! We loved the two decks for evening cocktails and soaking up the sun. Great floor plan and private neighborhood just minutes from everything. My wife said this was in her top 3 vacation home rentals we’ve ever stayed! Highly recommend!

The home was situated on a bluff, overlooking the ocean and Brookings harbor, in a quiet cul de sac neighborhood. It had three large bedrooms, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The space was perfect for relaxing, with plenty of seating inside and outside, for watching the sunset. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and area beaches.

This house was absolutely gorgeous and had the best views of the beach. It was well equipped with games, kitchen essentials, and anything that you need for your stay. The view could not be beat and it’s a short walk down to the beach and to a few restaurants.

Vey nice and comfortable! Close to the redwoods and loved Bobbie’s boutique!

We loved our stay!!!! The property was very well kept, clean, and well stocked. There were an abundance of games for the kids. The space is throughly laid out. We only stayed 3 nights, wish we stayed longer!

Enjoyed the weekend in this beautiful house overlooking the harbor and ocean. The unobstructed view of the ocean from the living room/kitchen area was breathtaking! The evening sunsets were spectacular! I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing getaway!

Very nice home and exceptional view of the ocean. Especially enjoyed the separate living space so I could watch another TV or work remotely (which I did). Loved the classy way they handled the expectations of us as we left - do nothing. They strip the beds, empty the trash, do the dishes, everything. Just asked that we have a great time and leave the work to them. We couldn't do it, though, Just had to wash the dishes and empty the trash. Loved this place.

Everything about our stay was better than anticipated; and we came with very high expectations. Alice was a great host. We enjoyed great sunsets and ocean walks. We hope to return next year.

This place is top notch!!! Worth every penny!!! It has everything you’ll need for your stay. The beds/bedding are like sleeping on clouds. The amenities it is supplied with is over the top. It has the best view!!! A game room that has tons of old school/classic games. Several late nights of playing PAC-Man! Very easy walk to the beach. Very friendly neighbors. Can’t wait to book this house again!

The Whale Watcher was exactly as advertised. Alice, the Property Mamager was attentive and responsive. She was amazing. We'd go back for sure!

Wonderful, comfortable, and beautiful setting. We so enjoyed using the binoculars, bird watching, and watching the hummingbirds dance. Was a great location for doing just about whatever you would want. We were able to do all the cooking we wanted. The oven runs a little hot so you might want to adjust or watch your time closely!

We had a wonderful stay! Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds! View of the Pacific ocean was outstanding and we loved seeing the boats go out each morning. Home was well stocked.

In the search of our summer vacation stay near the redwoods whale watcher stood out as a great option for my family. Let me tell you we were so happy with our choice. The home is beautiful and super clean. My wife said it was the best stocked vacation rental we had ever been in And trust me we have rented from VRBO for close to 20 years. That ocean view when you walk through the front door, just smack you in the face… just amazing. The location was perfect for the outings that we took daily to the redwoods and other beaches.
