Rampart View is a 3 bedroomed townhouse overlooking the moat and 16th century ramparts of Gosport. Two of the three bedrooms each house a 4ft 6″ double bed and the main bedroom accommodates a 5ft king size ‘zip and link' double bed that can split to create 2 single beds, plus we can offer 2 fold out style camp beds, possibly sleeping up to 8 guests in total.

Stayed Dec 28, 2022This property is in the best location for the area. Once we arrived we didn't need to drive as it's easy to walk around Gosport, hop on the ferry to Portsmouth which also gives you easy access to the Isle of Wight so loads to do on your doorstep. This property doesn't allow self check in which is a shame as it's alot less stressful if you can arrive when you want without having to arrange to meet someone or worry about any fines from being late. However, Ken was really nice, organised and informative. Comfy sofa, smart tv, great views including a window seat area which i loved, garden and balcony although neither sheltered from bad weather, as much as you could need utensil wise to use in the kitchen. A great amount of storage in the main bathroom and bedroom. The en suite bedroom is a small bed so can only really comfortably fit 1 adult in and doesn't have much storage in the room either so 2 couples cannot comfortably have a floor each which is a shame. 1 bedroom upstairs with the best view doesn't have a mirror and to make the most of any bedroom storage remember to pack coat hangers. 2 parking spaces but 1 space is more suitable for a small car. Quiet friendly neighbourhood but keep the noise down to avoid any fines. Recommendations - Great Wall Chinese Restaurant Gosport, Artys Gosport, Solent Springs mini Golf Gosport, Round Tower Portsmouth, a year ticket if you will visit more than 1 museum to save money and allow you more than 1 day to see all. I recommend this place if you want to visit Portsmouth or Gosport.
