Rainbow Springs Serenity Vacation Home

Michael has a lovely property. The location can't be beat. Go to sleep and wake up looking at the river. My partner and I spent hours on the dock reading and relaxing. Truly a delightful spot.

The house is fairly private and is in a fantastic location right on the water. The photos are accurate. The beds are comfortable and the house has kayaks, paddleboards and everything you need for a nice vacation.

Perfect retreat for relaxation and to just enjoy the beauty of nature. Sitting on the dock under the gorgeous cypress tree was just what we needed. Looking down into the Rainbow River from the deck was like looking into an aquarium, the water was so clear. Watching the turtles, fish, birds, and an otter family kept us entertained. Easy access to the river for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Home is lovely, clean, and was well stocked for all of our needs. Our host, Michael, was always just a text or call away.

We have stayed here several times and enjoy just relaxing by the river watching the wildlife!! Hope to go back soon!!

The property was perfect for the occasion we booked for. The kitchen was stocked with the necessities to cook with. Comfy master bedroom bed. Beautiful views of the Rainbow river.

Family of four with a 12 and 15-year-old. Everyone enjoyed this place. Wildlife galore! Views of the river from almost any room. Whether inside or out we saw birds, otters, turtles… House was as described. Beds were comfortable. Life jackets, water toys, and kayak/paddle board were enjoyed. Communication was great. The electricity went out for a few hours and Micheal called to check in and let us know the estimated time of repair from the utility company. Due to a rainy windy day, Michael shared a few places indoors to check out and restaurants. This place lives up to its name! Rainbow Springs Serenity

Beautiful property …perfect for a quiet get away

Lovely location. Very pleasant stay on the river’s edge. Comfortable accommodations & clean. Host provided a good selection of kitchen equipment & supplies.

This home is in a wonderful location with a deck overlooking the Rainbow River. It was great to watch the kayakers floating by and we also sa some otters swimming down stream.

Great location and experience overall. But guests should know every room has a different floor height and transition, some are several inches different. They are lighted and marked with reflectors but it’s very odd and presents a tripping hazard and mobility issue. Also, it’s not walkable to the State park as listed.

Our stay at the Rainbow River Serenity Vacation Home was truly magical. There was a small hiccup when it came time to find water vessels for all four of us, as one of the boards was missing a fin, but aside from that, it was a wonderful stay. The way the sunlight greets the home in the morning brings such a sense of peace — it truly feels like the heart of Florida. We saw otters playing (a real treat!), an alligator, and so many birds, and everyone who floated by was so friendly. The place felt safe — secluded yet accessible — and we even enjoyed a cozy fire in the firepit one evening. The place was also spotless and had so many fun games to choose from. You can tell the hosts have thought of everything and genuinely care about making your stay special. The home has been in the family for generations, something you can feel the moment you pull into the drive.Anyone wanting an authentic river experience this place is a must! My husband and I have visited 49 of our 50 great states and this is our absolute favorite place we have ever stayed, and the only rental we have returned to more than once.Our 3rd stay at Rainbow Serenity was just as magical as before. The beauty and peace of the river, the ridiculous abundance of wildlife, the comfort and uniqueness of this home, and the extraordinary kindness and hospitality of our host made this spot enjoyable beyond words.We missed seeing Jo very much, but Mike was an absolutely wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed for an ideal stay.Having kayaks, tubes, and all manor of water gear makes a huge difference. We spent hours kayaking. But our very favorite part of staying here is time on the porch - morning coffee with the regulars - otters, herons, egrets, anhingas, ibis, wood ducks, and all sorts of small birds enjoying the cover and shade of the mighty cypress tree encircled by the deck. Watching the colors of the water light up in the sun and seeing kayakers float by at lunch. Steak on the grill as evening settles on the Rainbow. Bliss.Thank you Mike and family for sharing your beautiful home. We are so very grateful for our time at Rainbow Serenity.

This is a fantastic property! Very quiet, peaceful spot directly on the Rainbow River. The mornings were especially memorable, sitting out on the dock, drinking coffee and watching the abundant wildlife(otters, anhingas, and turtles to name a few). Kayaks, paddleboards, and floats were all included to maximize enjoyment of the river. Hope to stay there again in the future!

Ms. Jo thought of everything. Both kinds of coffee pots, crock pots, air fryers, kayaks, and paddle boards. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of different spaces to hang out in. Will visit again!

Absolutely loved this place, mornings overlooking the water with coffee is to die for. The outdoor shower was amazing, never took a bath inside.

This spot is beyond belief. Just roll up out on your suit forget the world and enjoy the river! We didn’t leave the deck the entire time we were there! The house is thoughtfully laid out and stocked. The grounds are well maintained and the place was spotless. I can’t wait to go back!

Jo was such an amazing host! Absolutely loved my stay here for my 29th Birthday. This has been one of my most memorable & relaxing experiences for a birthday and I'm glad I got to spend it on the river. The home has everything you need kayaks, paddle boards ect and all the indoor amenities. The beds were so comfy and the outdoor shower was a nice touch. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay, I cannot wait to return.

This is our third year staying at Rainbow Spring Serenity. We love the property, the location, and the host. We can't wait to come back again next year.

It was a great location for tubing down to Swampy’s or just chilling on the dock. The waterfront access is amazing for the kayaks and paddle boards provided. Very comfortable inside and out.

What an amazing retreat. Jo is a more than gracious hostess who made sure we had everything we needed to ensure our comfort and entertainment- SUP's, kayaks, fishing gear, bikes, coffee, fresh condiments and even a gift basket of snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine. The house itself was clean, comfortable and full of character. The front yard entertainment area(complete with resident owl) was an unexpected pleasure, and the rear deck over the river encouraged easy and frequent river access. Over every morning's coffee and breakfast we were treated to a steady parade of heron, wood ducks, anhinga and other waterfowl flying by, while the river float had turtles, diving waterfowl and the occasional otter family regularly passing back and forth. On our 3rd trip to Rainbow River, we definitely have found the rental we will be seeking on every future trip.

The property manager, Jo, was very friendly and accommodating. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need, from sunscreen to umbrellas. The house was definitely quirky but its location right on the river was awesome. We loved waking up to steam coming off the river, otters swimming by and getting out for a kayak every day.
