Quintessential Tahoe Cabin, Private beach, kayaks, Max Occ 4 adults 2 kids

This property is beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed the warmth from the fireplace and the very short walk to the beach. Everything was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Tahoe area!

Charming home! It was a great fit for us (2 parents, 2 kids) and in a great location during the winter. Nancy was a great host who made sure we had all needed info, as well as a ton of suggestions for activities. Will be coming back!

Cozy, great walkable location, and an historic building and restoration

Very charming historic home renovated with all modern conveniences. Beautifulneighborhood and great location. Kayaks, bikes, beach chairs and toys included for use at the community's private beach. Lake Tahoe has so much to enjoy for both young and old. Great place for a vacation or weekend get away.

Host was very good. House was adorable and location great. Unfortunately construction of a new house lead to constant noise and disruption of what would have been a relaxing week

Absolutely magical stay here with my husband for my ten year anniversary. We brought our two toddlers and two friends of the family and had possibly the best vacation ever! The house was gorgeous and so special…I’ve stayed in Tahoe a million times and all the houses feel the same but this one is on another level. The private neighborhood is so good for peace and quiet, and the quick walk to the private beach cannot be beat (especially when little ones are involved). We grilled out back and ate meals outside most nights, and the rest of the time went to all the great spots close to the house. 20/10 I will be trying to stay here every time I come back now.

Last vacation of the summer was amazing here at The Little Stone house. Thank you Nancy for making our trip seamless. We are definitely coming back.

Communication with the property manager was excellent. She is super responsive even when she was traveling.The house could have used a little more house cleaning, there were cobwebs Everywhere. There were so many on the master bedroom fan we didn't even want to turn it on, on every light fixture. all over balcony furniture and decks/balaconies weren't clean.Also there is No A/C upstairs. I run hot so this was challenging.Definitely appreciated having a private beach, cars were lined up for miles trying to access the public beach. All of the amenities available- kayak, bikes and such were nice although are stay was short so we didn't get to use them.house was restored beautifully inside and out.

We can not express enough how much we enjoyed the little stone house! This cabin is absolutely charming. The location is amazing, close to great shops and restaurants. Nancy is the best host ever- great communication and the cabin had everything we needed and so much more. Nancy is beyond generous with all the beach toys, wagon, chairs, towels- everything! Our boys loved riding their bikes through the beautiful neighborhood. We were there for July 4th and everything was perfect- amazing fireworks and having access to the private beach was so great as we had zero crowds to compete with.I really can’t express how much we adored the cabin- so much character and charm! Highly recommend-We have been to Tahoe 3 times now and the little stone house was by far our favorite! Thank you Nancy

The Little Stone house was the perfect weekend get away for our family and 3-year old niece. We really enjoyed the historic house with modern luxuries. It has a full kitchen with everything you would need to cook. We enjoyed the backyard too with a little view of the lake. Nice quiet neighborhood which feels private and safe. The only issue is the neighbors very clearly display “renters not welcome” signs in their windows which makes you feel a tiny bit unwelcome. But it’s easy to ignore and they keep themselves. It’s an awesome location with a short drive to the nearest Safeway and only 7 mins from heavenly village. The little stone house was very kid friendly with an area for kids to watch movies and play. Overall a very special place and we look forward to our next stay!

We had a great time staying here. The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the views were great! The loft has plenty of games for the family. Nancy was a delight to work with. We booked last minute and it was easy and the communication was great. We will definitely book this again!

We loved staying in this stone house. It's in a quiet neighborhood with acesable walkign trails and access to the beach. The owner was super helpful and takes loving care of the home. We will come again for sure!

Its hard to imagine a better Tahoe getaway. The Little Stone House has a cozy, Lodge feel. Very quiet! Beautiful tree-filtered views of the lake. Spotlessly clean, and well stocked for anything one might need to enjoy the outdoors or cook a delicious meal. We stayed there during a particularly warm spell, and the Little Stone House was pleasantly cool. Grateful for the garage, as this seemed to be (large) pinecone dropping season!

The little stone house is the perfect place for a Tahoe vacation. It is ocated so close to many wo derful activities, with its own private beach, and has all the touches of home to make it perfect. But what really outs it over the top is super host Nancy - she is avaialable, helpful, and encouraging. What a wonderful experience. I can' wait to return!

All of the other reviews talk about how wonderful the home is, and they're right! We enjoyed the views from the loft, and left a few puzzles for the collection. I wanted to address the accessibility concerns from another review. Stairs are a problem for me, but I loved this home and figured we'd make it work somehow. Here's what worked for me - I used a cane on the stairs out front, because there's no railing. You could also go through the garage and use the railing onto the back porch. It was totally worth the extra challenge.

We loved our long weekend stay at the Little Stone House! Kitchen had everything we needed. The private beach was excellent. We hope to come again next year!

The perfect spot to get away for a few days, or weeks, or months...! The Little Stone House was cozy, quaint and in a perfect, quiet little community. The private beach was the definite gem, as we had it all to ourselves almost every day we were there. Nancy was a very gracious host and was always quick to respond to any questions we may have had. We will be doing our best to visit again as soon as we can! There are not enough wonderful things to say about this house. A true gem!

A small part of me wants to tell everyone how you shouldn't come here... just so i can enjoy booking this amazing gem whenever I wanted. But alas, i will tell the truth: it was perfect! Convenient in location, quiet neighborhood, remodeled to perfection, decorated thoughtfully. The owner is quick and generous to respond, as needed. Charming place, to the utmost.
