Comfortable, clean, and very quiet property. Convenient location, be sure, and check out St Aloysius just steps away from the flat. I highly recommend this property. Very nice to have a dishwasher and washer and dryer on site.
Clean and very well appointed. Anne and Gordon were excellent hosts. Absolutely no downsides to this property. Will definitely use it again.
We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was exactly as presented in the VRBO information. It was very clean and had all that we needed when we arrived. The location was good and close to city buses and also the major bus lines to other cities. Both the bus and train stations are within easy walking distance. The owner Anne was especially helpful and easy to contact throughout our stay. Our British Airways flight was very delayed and she remained available to meet us close to midnight to orient us. She also gave us very helpful suggestions for restaurants, other sites to see, and transportation recommendations. We would gladly stay here again.
Glasgow was the first of our 3 U.K. destinations, and none of the 4 of us had been to Glasgow before. While not exactly central to the middle of the city, we found the Buccleuch Lane location to be nonetheless very convenient for us to walk to most of things things one would do on vacation: shop, visit restaurants & pubs, attend the theatre, explore local historical places, and see the sights. It was also easy to go shopping for groceries, pick up take-out food, and very importantly for us; to catch the Hop-On Hop-Off bus - which is about a 10 minute walk away. We also found it quite easy to walk to more distant areas of the city (2 - 3 miles distant and mostly level or downhill) and take a taxi home if needed. Anne provided good advice about finding the suite (which was helpful to tell taxi drivers), and Gordon gave us some great personal insight about the local neighborhood and the city in general. He even suggested a couple of things to check out for our following trip to Edinburgh. They were both very helpful & friendly in all respects. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 days in Glasgow, and would highly recommend Anne and Gordon's place for a clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting the city.
Nice property. Entry to the property is a bit awkward as it is off a main road. However easy to navigate thereafter.
My colleague and I stayed at #9 for 2 weeks. After a long day of flight delays, Anne met us at the flat to let us in. She was very friendly and welcoming. The flat was EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN, and was even cuter than I had remembered it from the booking. It is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a long stay, including adapters. We are coming back next summer for another 2 weeks and will book Anne and Gordon's flat again if it is available!
The apartment was lovely and just what it showed in the listing. Anne's communication up to and during our stay was excellent and we had everything we needed. Quirt place very close to the city centre.
Big kitchen area, nice living room, good Wi-Fi. Everything you need is in the flat. Great location, close to the subway.
Great communication with Anne & Gordon prior to arrival. Nice & clean inside, with plenty of room for 4 adults. Quiet area, but only10 mins walk from Sauchiehall St and 5 from Cowcaddens subway. Plenty of essential supplies to keep us going for 4 nights. And thanks for letting us leave the car for a few hours after checkout - and for finding those trainers before we departed!
This was the perfect stay in Glasgow. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, parks and the subway. The hosts are great communicators, spent time showing us the map of the city and the ways of the house. A gem in Glasgow!
Comfortable townhouse with a modern layout. Serves you with all comfort (WiFi, kitchenware, all basic food equipment). Situated in the city centre in the quiet residential area of Garnethill. Personal and accommodating check-in by sympathetic Anne and Gordon who are happy to help you in every regard. Top recommendation we would choose any time again!
The whole family loved the holiday home. It is very lovingly furnished so that you feel right at home. We can only recommend the accommodation, as it is really centrally located and from there you have a very good connection by public transport. Thank you for the personal welcome and service ;).
Lovely, homely property with urban locale that is kept organized and clean and equipped with creature comforts to boot.
