A handy location, easy walking distance to centre. NB found left luggage at Queen St station v useful tho they only take cash payment, no cards! Our host was v swift to respond. One gripe was that there were no toiletries when we arrived, and they weren't delivered until the next day. I'd advise asking host to check in advance as I see we're not the first people this happened to. No facilities to make filter coffee either! But overall v pleased with the place.
Wonderful communication, highly recommended
Lots of restaurants, great museums, shopping within 30 minute walk. St Vincent hill traffic a tad noisy though. But tolerable. Accommodations fine.
The flat is roomier than we thought it would be. The clothes washer is new. Overall, however, the flat is a bit older, so don't expect some shiny new hotel. Everything is comfortable and pretty and works. Gillian responds right away to any inquiries and was lovely to deal with.
Perfect location for exploring Glasgow, walking distance to everything. Property was perfect for 2 couples, felt like home. Would highly recommend.
Great flat in central but quiet area.
Beautiful and stylish townhouse, a short walk from the city centre. The hosts were very responsive to my messages. My only minor gripes would be the slightly lumpy sprung mattress in the downstairs bedroom, the suboptimal cleaning (there were layers of dust on the dining table and window sill) and slight paucity of consumables (the fairy liquid was empty, the hand wash and shampoo were near empty as were the giant refill containers until the stairs), there were no fresh scourers, my bed was made up and the mattress was still exposed on the pillow end of the bed...all these things could be remedied easily and would take the feel of the property from great to excellent. For those sensitive to noise, the downstairs bedroom is very sheltered from road noise as it has no road-facing windows and is tucked behind a wall and a door. It was very quiet. The upstairs bedroom had some road noise but it didn't bother my friend who sleeps like a log! Having a bathroom for each bedroom is great for those travelling with friends. There are even two hairdryers. The check-in/out was very easy with a lockbox. In summary, a beautifully presented property in a great location with responsive hosts...would definitely visit this high-ceilinged haven again!
