Quiet, spacious mountain-view home with wraparound deck & creekside trail

For us the location was perfect. This is such a lovely home. The furnishings were all comfortable and had such an “at home” feel. The kitchen was perfectly appointed and had everything that we needed, even a large selection of spices available. Our stay was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 6. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have booked this property several times over the years because of the calm, relaxing environment and natural beauty that our family loves escaping to. The house is clean and well-maintained with a lovely interior aesthetic, but our favorite part is the large back deck where we can sit with our coffee and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest and birds (and sometimes the neighboring chickens)! Game room and large back lawn are great for family activities. Great location: a short drive to town but detached from any crowds. Close to recreation with National Forest and Sno-Park access at the end of the valley road just a few miles from the house. This property is the ideal balance for us between the access to outdoor recreation and a relaxing environment at the house, where the family can unplug and make memories together. We hope to make many more!

This was my second time staying at this cabin, and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The cabin is quiet, clean, and spacious - the perfect place to relax, recharge and get out of the city. It feels peaceful and secluded, yet it's still conveniently close to town. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and easy to settle into. I already can’t wait to come back again!

The house itself is nice, great kitchen that is well stocked, although the pots and pans, etc are very old. It's clean, has a nice view, and a quick drive into town, but there are more negatives than positives unfortunately. Here are some things not mentioned (or buried in the listing description) that I wish I knew before booking: 1. There is a tenant living in a garage apartment that is *attached* to the house. I don't think they were there during our stay, but this factor alone would have kept me from booking in the first place. 2. The water absolutely reeks of rotten eggs. There are signs inside the house that mentioned a slight sulfur smell due to well water but it is not slight in the least. We tried to fill the nice jetted tub in the bathroom and the ENTIRE house smelled of rotten eggs before it was even half full. Completely unusable tub, and the showers were no better. Even washing dishes felt gross. 3. The next door neighbors have multiple barking dogs that they let run loose all over the property. My kids could not play outside in the snow due to fear of the dogs. 4. Both of the fireplaces were out of order which was really disappointing. There is also zero cell service. None. Altogether, not a very pleasant stay, as there were too many accumulative negatives.

We had a wonderful time staying here for the weekend - the home was clean, accommodating and had beautiful views in the morning! Definitely recommend this home, we were very pleased with our stay!

Adult sibling weekend away to Leavenworth. The home was conveniently located just outside of Leavenworth surrounded by beautiful scenery. The home accommodated us perfectly and was great for a weekend getaway.

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving in this lovely home and felt far away from the bustling crowd, yet were only a short drive to be in the center of town where all the activity was. The kitchen was nicely equipped and a joy to prepare our meals and we took full advantage of the fireplace. The only downside was that we had to watch the Apple Cup on our computer. We will definitely be back someday.

Awesome location

This is our second year staying here! The house is very clean and well kept! Great layout with plenty of space! The kids loved sledding in the yard and playing outside. About 10 mins from town so quick drive to do anything in town!
