Quiet, private retreat with lake views, huge covered deck, W/D, & fenced yard

The house is warm and inviting with all the amenities you could need. The covered back porch is a nice addition in case of inclement weather. The living area is quite large and accommodated our crowd nicely. This is the third year we have rented and are looking forward to many more stays in the future.

Best part of this location is the family of deer present. Very secluded and quiet location. Bathroom in large guest bedroom needs renovation, particularly the shower which is too small and not a good fit for the average Adult. Beautiful home with lots of amenities. Wonderful view of the lake. Spacious shaded deck to enjoy the view of the lake and visit with friends and family. Will definitely be our go to when we return to the area.

The Longhorn Lake House was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking. The bathrooms were large and also well appointed. The patio, the view and the location are perfect. The deer were a plus :) We are looking forward to our next trip there and will definitely book again.

The vacation home was everything we needed for a group of friends to relax and enjoy the weekend. The home had a great living space with TV and speaker and we spent a lot of time together in that space and the outside balcony in the day and night. Sunsets were beautiful. And we were surprised with 11 deer in the morning. We were a short short drive to the lake though the water level was not ideal for our visit so we enjoyed the view and some drinks. The kitchen provided lots of space for cooking. The beds were great though slightly less for the people stuck on the bunk beds. We were the lucky ones to get the enormous primary bedroom. We were so happy with the house overall. Slight cons, but not enough to warrant a bad review: The provided propane tank needed to be switched out and it was a bit of a process. The outside seating had small wasp nests around. And while mosquitoes are to be expected, the mosquito oil lamps on the tables were empty and we found no repellent. Hose allowed for an early check in and we enjoyed our entire stay!

Loved staying at the Longhorn Lake House. Had everything we expected and more.

A lot of thing available that you would have in your own home. Felt like home!

Enormously spacious home with large kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, and great views of the lake and wildlife. We have stayed at various properties over the years during our annual family Schlitterbahn trip and this home was one of the best. Every bedroom had a bathroom with shower, the master suite is oversized and has its own balcony. The kitchen had everything to cook and serve s family meal. The instructions for occupying the home were clear and very reasonable. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet. Our family was very comfortable and we would happily stay there again.

This house was perfect! We allowed our three children to each bring a friend this year and with two adults and six kiddos this house was perfect. Having three bathrooms was awesome. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We had neighbors show us around and help us to the lake for long walks. The back porch was the perfect spot for breakfast, tea, card games and grilling. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, as we didn’t eat out much. We truly loved every minute.

Wonderful, roomy house, with an amazing view of the lake. Enjoyed the back porches and games. Beds were comfy! Deer where everywhere in the neighborhood and it made our day to see them everyday. Store was close. New Braunfels was a 30 minute drive but businesses where off and on the whole way. Would definitely stay here again!
