Quiet Country Retreat, 4 Bedroom Rambler on 9 Acres in Rural Edgewood Sleeps 9

Very nicely updated and appointed home. Many details considered. Doreen and Nick are fantastic owners!

This house was a dream. We always travel with a bag of supplies because we cook every meal. This is the first house we've stayed in that we didn't need those supplies (scissors, dish rags, tongs, stain remover spray, air fryer, etc). Plenty of space in the house lead to fun times for my granddaughter (there's a small tote of kid things & we found some books as well). The backyard is beautiful with bunnies and hummingbirds daily. Doreen & Nick are the most welcoming hosts we've come across. They had great recommendations for us when we asked. No hoarding of towels from them either. We had an abundance to use at our lesiure. Garage parking included. Quiet area. No issues what so ever. We definitely recommend staying with Doreen & Nick!

We absolutely loved this home. So comfortable and every attention given to detail. The hosts were really great, friendly and warm people. The home is situated on a beautiful piece of property with so much room to roam and play. It slept seven of us, including 3 young children most comfortably. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything to put together a lovely family meal. The rooms were beautiful and most comfortable. A very peaceful place. Everything about this property is top notch. I give the hosts and their property the highest recommendation. The picture I’ve included is the backyard in the early morning. Beautiful!

This place was perfect for our family! Doreen & Nick were very friendly and accommodating. They had plenty of coffee, tea, kleenex, fans for every room, endless towels & pillows and lots of misc. items I needed like a baking sheet to bake our cookies and ziploc bags for snacks to take on our daily travels. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood felt very safe. The house was well lit at night and lots of landscaped property for us to explore during our 6 day trip. The location was perfect. We traveled to Tacoma, Graham, Eatonville, & surrounding local small towns. Both Doreen & Nick provided lots of recommendations to restaurants and places to take our 3 yr old twins when asked. They even provided a bag of duck food to feed the local ducks that visit the 2 ponds they have on their property. Unfortunately we didn't see any ducks but the kids still enjoyed throwing food into the pond to feed them! We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the house had plenty of space for everyone. Nick even brought over a space heater at 9pm after I texted them so late asking if the house had one as I felt chilly in the master bathroom/shower. They were wonderful and the stay was flawless. I would highly recommended this property to anyone coming to visit this area. I enjoyed my morning cups of coffee sitting outside and my evening cups of tea winding down my days listening to the birds singing and my kids laughing and playing & making memories with the magic door in the backyard. Nick and Doreen work tirelessly to make the stay amazing! We were in Edgewood for my daughter's wedding, and having an incredible home to stay in enhanced an already great trip. The house was beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet. It was cozy and impeccably clean! We knew a little about Washington, but Nick and Doreen offered us some advice to improve our visit. I would definitely recommend staying in this house!

The property was just as described and fully fit our needs. The few steps made it accommodating for the grandparents who stayed as well. The beds were comfortable, the linens wer amazing, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved the outdoor space! We were there for my daughter's wedding and there was space in the garage for storing ALL of the flowers! Doreen and Nick were very helpful and accommodating with our questions and anything we needed! Highly recommend!

The location and the house were perfect and the hosts were the best hosts I have ever met. This property will forever be my top choice anytime I have to travel to WA.

This property was as advertised. Clean, quiet, comfortable. There was nothing lacking and if there was, the owner would have been sure to take care of it. Owners were very friendly and thorough through the check-in process and genuinely wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay.

Really lovely property just outside of Seattle/Tacoma area. We were in town for a nearby wedding and this was a great place to prepare and relax around the festivities. Property is just like the pictures - clean, upscale, no hidden surprises. Its in a quiet, rural neighborhood with lots of space, but multiple food and coffee options within a 5-minute drive in a couple different directions, and large kitchen for family meals. Would definitely recommend for these type of visits (if you are looking to be right near Seattle proper, probably not your best bet due to location, but with a car its 25 mins. from SeaTac and a few minutes more to downtown Seattle.)
