Affectionately called Edgewood Meadows is a gorgeous, wooded property situated on 5 acres of pastureland in Edgewood, so there is plenty of space to roam and enjoy the peace and quiet of this rural neighborhood! Within this tranquil area, there are many homes on acreage with horses, livestock and hobby farms, but with all the amenities nearby. Walking and biking trails are all within a short drive and you can always just take a walk-through lovely Edgewood.
Youll finda large deck and patio set in the backyard, perfect for a BBQ, playing games and just time to relax in the beauty of nature, enjoy a sunset and glass of wine! The spacious gardens are beautifully landscaped and are in bloom throughout the different seasons. The main gardens are beautifully landscaped, and the spacious back yard is perfect for summer activities such as Bocce Ball, croquet, horseshoe and just plain rest and relaxation. The north part of the property adjoins our old growth forest with plenty of PNW wildlife such as owls, eagles, ducks, and racoons.

THE HOUSE:

Newly renovated in 2023, this lovely secluded, 2 story home will easily accommodate up to 4 - 8 people. Artfully decorated and beautifully appointed, with brand new furnishings, beds, linens, appliances and housewares. All beds have comfortable pillow top mattresses, down quilts and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The remodeled kitchen boasts brand-new stainless-steel appliances, numerous small appliances, luxury cabinetry, and the kitchen is fully stocked to create everything you could ever need to cook a delicious meal! The spacious granite counters and island offer plenty of space for meal preparation. A light supply of coffee & tea will be available upon your arrival. Snuggle up in front of the gas fireplace in the den during the fall and winter months and enjoy air conditioning during the summer (a rare treat in the Pacific Northwest). Smart TVs are provided in all the 4 bedrooms and both the front living room and back den have large flat screen TVs. Both the luxurious master and main bathroom have elegant, large tiled walk-in showers and a supply of towels and toiletries are provided for your convenience.

THE BEDROOMS 4:

The Master Bedroom has a King Bed. There are 2 Full Bed Bedrooms, and 1 Queen Bed Bedroom. All beds have new, comfortable, pillow top mattresses and storage drawers built into the bed frames. Each room has a locking door handle for your security, a closet for your clothing and personal possessions, and its own flat screen TV. The king bedroom has blackout curtains, while the other 3 bedrooms have blackout cellular shades. Luxurious 800 thread count linens, cozy down quilts, down pillows and extra blankets are all provided these are bedrooms where you can truly rest, relax and get comfy cozy!

COMMON AREAS:

The main living room has plenty of seating with 2 large couches, a chair, large flat screen TV and plenty of windows for a bright airy ambiance! All the furniture is new and has a contemporary, yet comfortable homestyle feel!

The den has a comfortable sofa, large flat screen TV, beautiful gas fireplace and a large patio window to access the deck outside. Youll also find a desk here to work at or study. You can truly relax here on those rainy PNW days.

All the smart TVs are equipped with Xfinity Cable and WIFI is available to all our guests.

There is two car garage attached to the house & plenty of onsite free parking.

THE AREA:

Edgewood is our best kept secret and is very close to many local destinations, sight-seeing opportunities and activities such as those listed below. Walking and biking trails are within a short drive. The Tacoma Waterfront has a paved sidewalk along Puget Sound's Commencement Bay, which is ideal for walkers, joggers, or those out dining with a magnificent view. The sidewalk stretches all the way to Point Ruston, which offers some of Tacomas most scenic views.

WINTER: Want to beat the skiing crowd to secure a spot at Crystal Mountain Stay at Edgewood Meadows to get a head start our home is about an hour drive away from the mountain and is a straight shot using the Sumner-Buckley Highway. Come back from a full day of skiing and warm up by the fireplace!

SUMMER: Adventures are here in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest! With so many local mountains, national parks, beaches and lakes, there is always somewhere to go explore and so many things to do! The weather is typically very comfortable in the mid 70s and we rarely get humidity. Edgewood is centrally located to start all your PNW adventures!
