Quiet and secluded barn home close to Ft Leonard Wood and outdoor activities!!!!

I’m not certain how this has a a near 10 score. This pictures do not represent the current state of the house. It was very dirty. Two wall heaters had burn marks, it hasn’t been dusted in a long time. Dust and cobwebs and spiders, very little care taken to make a person feel at home. Looks like someone spent 10 minutes shopping at a thrift store for kitchen items. There wasn’t even a bar of soap. Couldn’t use wifi unless we were outside. The tv wasn’t close to a 65 inch and the tv kept buffering. DVDs but no dvd player. You could smell Glade Plug-ins from outside. There were SEVEN that I removed and placed outside because we were miserable with the smell, our clothes smelled like it. After 12 hrs the house smelled like animal urine and possible mold. Clearly they were meant to cover up the urine, especially in the back bedroom closet, we couldn’t hang our clothes in it. I asked for an iron which was in the house but no ironing board. I highly doubt this “house” which is a storage/garage build, is up to code. The fridge was dirty as well at the front of the stove. Do not recommend.

We loved the secluded, quiet and wooded setting that was also conveniently close to I-44. The interior is spacious and comfortable, and was very clean. A pool table, DVDs and board games are available for entertainment.

Very clean and comfortable in all aspects. A firmer mattress would have helped husband's back but he slept nonetheless If we could give it a 50 star rating we would. It was exceptional!

Some things were different than the pictures. It worked out for us tho. Very peaceful. I would stay there again if I was back in the area.

I highly recommend this place!! It's secluded, which makes it very peaceful and private! It has a fire pit outside for supreme relaxation, pool table inside if that's your thing! The king bed is insanely comfortable, and the blankets are even good, not itchy scratchy like some. The place was clean and equipped with more than enough bath towels, washcloths, blankets, and anything else you may need! Check in and out was super easy. I didn't need to contact the host for any issues! Definitely 5 stars! The price is awesome for what you get!

Clean, great amenities, appeared very dog friendly with a small fenced area outside. Would highly recommend to others needing a place to stay when in the area.

The place seemed very wet everywhere everything was damp. I felt the pictures online are deciving it makes it look like there is more beds and furniture then there actually is. The couch was broken couldn't sleep on it or sit on it. The pull out bed was trash no way anyone could sleep on it. The TV in the bedroom didn't work. I woke up with ticks on me. And it said it was private but indeed it was not ,there were lights going on and off in the barn the part we had no access to and it was creepy. The dishes were dirty and the coffee pot was unuseable so I had to buy one . I'm very unsatisfied with my stay I left a day early cause I couldn't be there any more. I contacted the host they said they would give me a partial refund but haven't heard back from the host in over 24 hours

The stay was overall wonderful. A secluded, quiet, and comfortable space for our visit. Pet friendly and a safe area to walk if desired.

Loved the property overall, it suited our needs, was quiet and beautiful. Two small critiques, the internet wasn’t great so it made watching tv difficult, and the water pressure in the shower was meh.

Place was very clean and exactly how it was described. Everything we might have needed was included. My kids really enjoyed having the pool table to keep them entertained.

The host was very welcoming. All the amenities where great. The space was wide open it gave our grand son space to run and enjoy him self. It was very quite and felt like home. My sone graduated from basic training and he came and spent time with us there. It made him feel like he was at home.

We enjoyed our stay while attending our son’s Army Family Day/Gradution from Ft. Leonard Wood. The space was inviting an big enough for our little family

We had a great time, only down falls was the wifi laged we couldn't watch both TV'S without one of them laging every couple minutes. Also the dishwasher didn't work i washed a small load 2 times ad hen had to unload and wash them by hand.

This was our first VRBO experience and it was perfect! I highly recommend this place. It's secluded, quiet, and so cute!

The unit was very spacious and located in a quiet secluded area. Unfortunately, we had rain and didn't get to use the fire pit. We had hoped to have a fire and make smores. Host had pet bowls and a fenced in outdoor area for our dog. Excellent communication with host. Next time, we will come for a longer stay!

We were in town for our son’s graduation into the Army, this house provided everything we needed for a fun secluded getaway. The host was super friendly always answered our questions right away I would highly recommend this place and if I’m ever in town again I might try to stay here again!

Perfect spot for basic training graduations. The host was great if im ever traveling in this area again i will try staying here.

One overnight quick stay perfect for that. Location was great for us as we floated 3 miles on Roubidoux creek. Barn not much to look at from outside but inside house was neat and clean and appears as pics suggest. Two nice beds and nice living room area. Pet bowls great convenient touch. Pool table is great. Ate in old town Waynesville. Gravel road to house was quick to get to off highway and 100% perfectly fine.

Came down for my sons graduation. Once we flew in and went to go get our car they gave it away and didnt have anymore. As it seemed like we would not find a car to rent i let the property owner know we may have to stay on the base and eat the bnb. He responded shortly after. He made some calls and found us a car. House was amazing for my sons family day to just relax, play some pool. Privacy and fire flies was a nice suprise

Visit was great! Loved the barn style house and privacy of the woods. Plenty of entertainment in the house. Didn’t bring the pups, but appreciated it was dog friendly and had a small fenced in area for them if needed. AC definitely kept us cool during our muggy visit and we took advantage of playing pool inside. Beds were comfy as well. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away from the city!

Our son was graduating from Fort Leonard wood MP program for the Marine Corps. We stayed in this cute little home. Enjoyed that it was kinda secluded and we got to listen to the sounds of nature! Thank you

Peaceful cabin to getaway Clean and nice

The house was very nice and was so much better than staying in a hotel. The pool table was a big hit when the grandkids visited!

We had a lot of fun. Would not recommend trying to find in the dark though.

Stayed a night while attending the graduation ceremony at Fort Leonard Wood. Very close to interstate. Very nice home and amminities. Will stay again.

10-15 minutes from base. Home feeling, everything we needed was available. Host was amazing and on point with whatever questions I had before and during my stay. If we come back for another visit this will be my first choice.

Beautiful place to stay. My husband fell in love! Love being able to feel away from the city, but still not being that far from town! Very simple, very cute rustic theme. The pool table was a plus!

We stayed here for a holiday family gathering. We had an absolutely wonderful time. This place is very clean and has so much spve. We would stay here again and again. The host were so accommodating. 5 stars is not enough.

This place was perfect for an overnight stay! It has everything you need! Everything was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The Smart TV and pool table were nice to use since it rained while we were there. The property owner answered all my questions quickly and was super nice! I would definitely stay again! :)
