Quick Walk to the Beach: Your Island Retreat

Overall very clean! We had a few maintenance issues that were dealt with immediately. The property is a short walk to the beach, I wouldn’t consider it oceanfront. It was a quiet townhouse type neighborhood. I probably wouldn’t bring my dogs again as it being on the second floor, it was stressful worrying about the noise and neighbor. The house is very close to the downtown amenities with lots of great shops and restaurants! We would recommend this property!

This is a great house to rent for a wonderful Beach trip! I took my daughter and her 5 friends here for the long weekend for their senior trip. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house is a few blocks from the beach so walking there was easy and simple. It's a very quiet part of the beach and was not overcrowded at all. The home was immaculate and clean. It fit our group perfectly. It was peaceful and private. Its about a 10 min drive to Historic downtown Amelia Island. We had a great time!

This rental was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was right on to of everything and kept me informed on everything. I highly recommended this property.

Property was exactly as described… excellent communication with the property manager.. we really liked the location… very quick walk to the beach .. quiet neighborhood… would have liked better water pressure with the showers but not sure if that is just the area but water comes out very light out of the shower heads .. also would recommend a new shower curtain in master bath … But highly recommend…. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was clean, and the location was perfect. Every morning, we walked about 2 miles to the quaint downtown for our coffee. The beach access is just two blocks away, which was ideal for our two teenagers, as they could easily walk there on their own. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. For your reference, be sure to bring your own aluminum foil and plastic wrap to pack food for the beach or grilling. The owner provides several glass containers, which help store food in the house. Staybetter was very communicative, friendly, and professional. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for making our Spring Break a memorable one.

We enjoyed our long weekend here. The accommodations were clean, new, and up to date. The area was very spacious for 2 couples which made for a relaxing weekend. There was easy access to the beach via a short straight walk. The hosts were very attentive checking in on any needs we may have. Overall an EXCELLENT choice for a quiet stay in Fernandina! We have already recommended it to friends!

Beautiful home. Very clean and bright. Great location, just a few blocks from the beach and a quick drive to downtown. On a side note, my husband ran into the owner and after discovering my 8 year had been searching for shark teeth without success he gave him a few to keep. We had a very happy little boy! Would recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this house. I originally thought it was a single family home, but it turned out there was a tenant below. It was not a problem at all. We just took more care to not disturb them. The location was great. Nice place.

The location is great and the layout is plenty spacious for 8 adults. The house is like brand new and it was spotless when we arrived. Easy check in/check out process. Would definitely book again!

Our stay was great. The location was close to everything. 10 mins to downtown, 20 mins to the Omni resort. Short walk to the beach. House was new construction. Interesting that the rental is the top floor and there is someone who lives downstairs. There was a locked door in the house that I think led to a staircase.
