Quick Walk to Long Sands Beach!

My family and I go to York for a long weekend every year end of August for my sons birthday and this was our favorite place we've stayed so far! We love long sands and it was a quick walk through a path to get there and brings you right to the middle of the beach with the bath house is. The place was also much bigger than we thought from pictures. My son loved playing on the 3 season porch and we spent alot of time on the deck. We couldnt figure out the TV, but honestly didnt even reach out to ask because we didnt need it that bad. Shower was a small stand up, while small, totally fine for a weekend. Fridge was a great size. Walked in and felt it was very clean. Would highly recommend !

The property was a 5 min walk to the beach which was great! The porch is a great spot to sit in the evening. The housekeeping was less than desired. There was a shirt on the floor in the bunk room as well as a fake fingernail. The mirror was dirty and there were cob webs everywhere in that room. It smelled musty. The rugs likely are the culprit. The living room furniture is not comfortable enough to sit out there. I think it would be very hard for 7 adults to be in that house as it smaller than it appears online I would say 3-4 adults max. The outside shower was a dream after coming back from the beach’s the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. There is a shed with all sorts of beach stuff if you need anything like chairs or even a cart to pull all your stuff down to the beach. The neighborhood is great and quiet. All in all we had an amazing time and would stay again.

Just got back from a week in York!The unit was very clean and in a great location!!Don’t let the outside think this is a small unit.The bedrooms were a nice size and front sunroom was a bonus.. along with a great deck to sit in the morning and have a coffee!

We had a great time. The house was very cute and close to the beach. We were confused with the check out process, it mentioned mopping the floors, there were no supplies to do this. We did vacuum even though it didn't mention it in the house binder. There is no space to store items in the cabinets, we had to move stuff around just to fit our snacks and kitchen items we brought to use for the week so we didn't have to store them on the kitchen table. There are way too many pots and pans and coffee mugs. The AC worked great, fans could have been better in the rooms. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower with.

Overall, we had a great stay! The cottage was well equipped and just as described. There was ample room for our two small families of three.The outdoor deck was great for an evening BBQ and the guest shed was fully stocked with beach supplies!

The cottage was the perfect size for our family and had a great location. We were able to walk to the beach every day and take a short drive into town when we went. It's in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Check in and check out process coud not have been easier. We will be coming back :)
