This is a quaint 3 bedroom home built in 1921; once a summer cottage in the days when Sanfranciscans would come up to soak in the healing waters of AquaCaliente/Fetters Springs. It is in an older part of Sonoma, but just 2.5miles from the charming downtown Sonoma Square and just 3 blocks to the Sonoma Mission Inn(aka Fairmont). There are some local dining spots within walking distance of my home. The neighborhood is great for morning walks, or evening strolls with a glass of wine (yes, we dothat here in Sonoma :)). I've got the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for. My front and back porches are wonderful for hanging out and relaxing. It is a wonderful little neighborhood and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This house has an upstairs Master Bedroom with a very comfortable Queen sized bed and separate bathroom with shower. The downstairs has a Full Bed and an attached Bathroom with a claw foot tub, and another small bedroom with a twin bed. I keep my place vacation rental ready, and invite you to use my home as your own (mi casa, su casa!). Currently, having had to move from my art studio, where I stayed when I had guest, I had to move my art studio, and clothes back to my home. I am not around when there are guests, but my art studio is now where my dining area use to be, but there are stackable tables you may use and I leave out things you are welcome to use, like drawing pads, pens, pencils Incase you are artistically inclined. There are dining tables on my front and back porches as well as on my patio down from the back porches. Most times folks tend to dine outside during our many good months of nice weather. I am looking for another art studio, so this is temporary until I find another place. I am always available for my guests by phone/text should you have any questions.

There is also a second unit on the property called the Artsy Annex, that I rent out also. You are welcome to book them both for larger parties! If not there may be someone in that unit when you are there. Many times my guests don’t ever meet, but when they do it is usually a positive experience, fast friends being made and such :) You can find it here: www.vrbo.com/1253443

The host was amazing. She was very communicative, answered any questions right away, and even dropped off more toilet paper for us when we were running low. The house was interesting. Very eclectic. It looked clean, but had a musty smell which could just be from everything being old. It could really use some updates. Our biggest disappointment was only one shower. We are 4 women and we always search for two full baths. The listing mentions one bath is shower only but says the other is bath or shower when it is truly only a bathtub.Overall, we had a great time and I do recommend the house.

The house was exactly as expected and had EVERYTHING we needed. The back yard was very relaxing, with a large table and a small water fountain. The house is located towards the northern side of town and was very accessible to the main road through town. It was a quick drive to the vineyards on both sides of the town. If we needed anything, the host was near enough to assist and easy to reach. The driveway is a little tight to get in with the full size car (nissan altima) we rented, but we found backing in made it so much easier to get in and out of. May not want to try it with a full size suv.

We loved our time in this cute house! Lots of character, great outdoor spaces, close to downtown Sonoma but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great access to all of the activities we wanted to do. It was a little warm with no AC, but I think we were there the hottest week of the summer and it was still manageable. We really enjoyed our stay!

We met the property owner on site and the home matched her dynamic and extremely creative personality. She was excellent with regards to communication and local recommendations and made us all feel right at home. It was the “homiest” VRBO we’ve ever booked…not fancy by any means, but charming and very cozy.

This home is a Gem. It is clean and very comfortable. It's like going to your favorite aunt's house. Doesn't feel like an older home at all. The home has a nice flow, lots of space to move around. The front porch gets the morning sun and is perfect for reading a book(which I actually did). My trip was short so I did not make it to the back yard oasis. It is truly one of the best features on the home. There are several nearby stores to pick up groceries. We went to whole foods(about 7 minutes by car). So so many good restaurants. Few of the ones we liked were: The girl and the fig, Cafe La Haye, Della Santina's. All were very very delicious. I will definitely be back and definitely stay here again in a heart beat!!!
