Quaint getaway with full kitchen and lush yard - close to the beach and downtown

Somewhat eccentric interior design with lots of space, and comfy bedrooms and baths. A great kitchen tops it all off. We did not find the busy decor off-putting, but some might.

It was well located to the T which coupled with Ubers that was our transportation. Every place we visited was close. Rockport, Marblehead and Boston all close by thanks to the trains. Our host Michael is very pleasant and interesting. I hope to have a beer with him sometime. We will be back I am sure of that.

It was a quick walk to downtown. Clean. Ample towels.

Clean and comfortable

Comfortable stay. Good size bedrooms and great location for us, as we could walk downtown and to the park. As others have said, the outside isn’t very appealing to the eye, the parking spots are small, and the living areas are jam packed with furniture. These things didn’t bother us.

We really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend as our home base for our family trip. The parking was a little tight although it worked (we only had one vehicle). We also must have missed the notes on all the sky lights! Bring an eye mask! The house was in a terrific location and had everything we needed!

The property was the right size for our group/ 2 full bathrooms a plus. The decor was as listed very eclectic which we liked. The grounds could have been cleaned up a bit.. very overgrown, other wisewe very much enjoyed our stay and had a memorable celebration.

We liked the location. It was close enough to walk to town. House had everything we needed and the 2 coffee pots was a plus for us.

Comfortable, quiet, private and close to beach and shops and restaurants. Short drives to explore Gloucester, Ipswich and Salem. One hour nerve-racking drive to and from Logan Airport.

We loved the location and how close it was to the town! We walked there and it was close to the beach as well! We loved the eclectic decor and the size was just right for us- 6 adults and a dog. One side note is the walls were thin, so if you’re an early to sleep, or like to sleep in, keep that in mind - or take the master which is a little separated from the other rooms. I appreciate the check ins from Vacasa about how the stay was going and how the cleanliness was upon arrival. They also were helpful in getting someone to come over for a maintenance issue(sink clogged because of electrical issue with the garbage disposal) - although there wasn’t anything he could do.

Loved this unique cottage with art history loaded with classic Latin painted tile work. Just short walk to beaches and downtown and park. Needs yard overgrowth cleanup and pesticide improvement.

We loved the style of this cozy cabin and the location close to the park, beach and downtown. Plenty of space for 6. Lovely! We’ll be back.

Inside of house was clean and served our needs well. Location was great, close to a nice park and Bearskin Neck. Outside was not what I call lush, you can barely see the house from the road. New outside photos should be taken.

Close to sites, large enough and very eclectic in decorations. Unfortunately there was a bad mold or mildew oder in the master bathroom

The property was beautiful and included all that we needed. However, the previous guest filled the exterior garbage cans to the top and the garbage was not disposed of during our 5 day stay. We had to bring our trash out each day and dispose of it ourselves which was a nuisance.
