Home is really very comfortable. Felt very much at home in this home. Well cared for. Has everything needed for a pleasant experience. Location is an added plus. This was the 2nd time renting this home. Hope to come back again.
The home listed offered us a home away from our home. Thoughtful amenities abound the house and really offered us a peaceful time. Kids (two teenagers and a preteen) enjoyed the swing, the backyard view of the mountains and the excursions to Shenandoah national park. The house comfortably accommodated our family of six. Would definitely try to revisit on a return trip.
We loved the fact that this home was only about a 12 minute drive to one of the 4 entrances to Shenandoah National Park. We went into the park 4 different times, including a sunset viewing the last night of our stay, which was awesome. Home was very clean and lovely. Our family said it was one of the best VRBO's we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few. Wifi was good for our son who is a gamer. Our daughter loved the outside fire pit. Kitchen was well equipped. My husband loved the front room where he could sit and read and look at the mountains.
Very well kept .Relaxing away from the busy city life.
This property is one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! It was well stocked in bathrooms and kitchen. It’s roomy, which allowed us to spread out at the end of a long day of adventuring. The beds are super comfortable! The home appears to be an older brick farmhouse and the interior is an eclectic mixed of traditional, mid century modern and farmhouse. It is plopped in the middle of a cornfield and the surrounding property was full of wildlife. The location was very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the park. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again without hesitation!
We enjoyed visiting family in a very relaxed situation & enjoyed the house . Plenty of ground to walk on & enjoy.
Great for any event
This was our 2nd stay at this home and it was just as great as the first visit. The home has everything you need and more. The home is very clean and well kept, we enjoyed having so much privacy but close enough to stores and restaurants. Perfect little spot for our family and our son loved the toys. We can't wait to return and make more special memories! We also loved the updates to the home since our first visit.
A very nice place to spend some time relaxing
Beautiful place, we loved every moment!
We had a great time in this beautiful and cozy home, kids loved the backyard and swing. Very clean and well kept home. Also the kitchen was well stocked. The house was quite spacious for party of 4. I'd highly recommended this home if you are visiting Luray or Shenandoah national park.
We were traveling for a family wedding, and was very happy with our selection to stay here. The house was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a great stay.
Having arranged a 2pm check in, because we were travelling with a baby, we arrived at the property and were unable to get in. We telephoned one of the numbers on the contacts but there was no answer. The other contact no. resulted in a very strange converstion and the person asking for money before he would give us the key code. We eventually got through to Evolve, the agents and they were most helpful. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. However there were a couple of cleaning issues which need dealing with. The enclosed porch floor was dirty, which we had to sweep and there were cigarette butts in a bin. The family bathroom was very dated and the bath needed a good clean. We were also very surprised how much road noise there was, something not at all obvious from the description. Having pointed out the negatives we still had a lovely family break.
Only a couple of suggestions, they should have someone knock down all the outside spider webs, and have the windows cleaned. We have a great deal trouble with the TV. Otherwise you can’t beat this home to stay in. They have everything you could possibly need.
Very roomy. Excellent layout. Homey, yet up-to-date. Close to the park and to restaurants. We enjoyed the firepit and the view of the mountains from the quiet, private yard. We were very pleased and highly recommend this VRBO.
We had a fantastic stay at this property. Easy to check in, amazing views, and good location. Easy to get to the nearby town, wineries, breweries, and hiking trails. Highly recommend this property.
The house was excellent! Loved the decor, clean and a great location for our hiking in the park! Beautiful views and private location!
A lovely house with nice outside seating and lovely views of corn fields and mountains. Close access to Shenandoah NP and near a couple of towns to hit for food or groceries. We enjoyed our stay!
Overall we love this property - we stayed at this same property the same time last year. I would have liked for the grass in back to have been mowed this year. It would also be nice if the cleaners would take care of spider webs on the porch furniture.
We rented this property for family attending our daughter’s graduation from JMU. The house was perfect! We loved the beautiful views and the screened in porch!
This property is right off the road yet feels like it’s super private & secluded. Beautiful views from the house and within close proximity to the river, Massanutten and Skyline Drive. So much to do nearby and a beautiful home and property to relax.
