Quaint and unique 1 bedroom in Short North with adorable features.

I stayed here for three nights visiting friends. The place was as described and a good location. Check in and out were easy. The layout of the house with the loft is cute as well. Very quiet. I noticed during my stay that there were some amenities and areas of the house that were in need of either refurbishment or repair. I'm not going to list them all obviously, but some of the major ones included the towel bar holding on to the wall by a screw so that when you tried to use it it fell off the wall and broke. The spiral staircase rocks back and forth slightly like the screws are loose on the floor. The knobs in the shower were so loose, one extra twist and they could come off in your hand. While these things did not drastically impact my stay, I wasn't exactly expecting these things and had some higher expectations. Drawers in the kitchen often came off the runners making it difficult to get things out of them. Overall the place is more worn than I expected. Several scuffs and peeling paint in places.I gave cleanliness 3 stars because of the above, but also the upstairs felt like it hadn't been cleaned super well. While the bed, toilet, and bathtub were clean, I often found clumps of lint and hair on the shower mat and throughout the upstairs. In general it felt like the place could have used a good dusting/better cleaning. Overall a mixed review and impression, if there had not been some of the worn amenities and the cleanliness stuff I would have given it 5 stars!

Just stayed the night for an appointment nearby the next day. Unique little space that is a nice change from typical rooms.

You cannot beat the location, and the off street parking (included) is the cherry on top. Neat layout, clear instructions, receptive owner.

Stayed here December '24 for two nights to attend a convention. The perfect cozy crash space for a pair of out-of-towners like us. Communicative and polite host. Enjoyed the lovely spiral staircase, comfortable bed, and convenient location. A walkable half-mile from the Columbus convention center with tons of amazing food, nightlife, and shopping in between. Thanks for a great stay!

We absolutely loved this place. We came to Columbus for our anniversary. The location couldn't be beat and parking was adequate for one vehicle. We brought our van and never felt cramped. The walking distance to coffee shops, bars, boutiques, and book stores was amazing! We even walked down to North Market, which was a great walk! I recommend bringing your own things if you have severe allergies as detergents and soaps are all scented. There was typical wear on railings, tables, cabinets, and appliances, but otherwise the place was clean and comfortable. The appliances were all in great shape. The area was great. The noise was minimal despite being very close to downtown. The occasional plane or helicopter and the vibrant cheer from the bars on High, were of no bother. Overall, the place is quiet for being so close to the city and cozy for any couple looking for a city get-away. We give this place all 5 stars and hope to come back again!

Stayed a night and had everything we needed in the property to have a great stay. Communication with the owner was good as well. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a cute place. Didn't realize the upstairs was where the bathroom was as well. The stairs are pretty cool and unique. Being in my 40s it wasn't difficult to go up and down, but better if I was younger and more fit. I say it was treehouse like, because of that design. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great cozy place

We stayed at 2 properties in Short North during our trip, this one was definitely quieter and more relaxing while still being a short walk from all the shops/restaurants. Easy check in, cute space. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well and the bed could use new pillows, but overall I would recommend to others and stay there again!

This property was perfect! Very clean, quiet, and the location was fantastic! If you’re looking for a place in Columbus that is close to everything look no further! We will book again when in the area!

Cozy and quiet. Everything we needed for a quiet comfortable stay in Columbus.

The interior space was very clean and comfortable. For the sake of future guests, I hope that a few needed fixes get attention: The towel bar in the bathroom was unusable, two of the dining chairs have broken planks, and one of the lights by the table needs to be replaced. Other than that, everything seemed perfectly great. As far as communication, I never received the check-in information until the day of, and I only got the info after calling directly because I did not get a reply from the Vrbo inbox message I sent. The message that I did get included an error (telling me that I was a party of 8 checking in, though it was just for 2 people) and also contradicted the instructions posted on the sheet of paper on the inside of the entrance door (in regards to the space in which to park). The host never sent a Vrbo inbox message about this discrepancy, but did sent a direct text message and knocked on the door of our stay to ask about it.It turned out that opting for the directions on the paper on the door was the incorrect thing to do. Also, when I made the booking, the listing initially had a discounted price. After I made the booking request, I received a Reservation request updated message from the owner telling me that the price is incorrect, at which point if I wanted to continue I would have to start the payment process over but at the non-discounted price. I was never given any explanation as to why I was not able to book at the originally provided price.

This was a great location, just half a block off N. High Street and just a few blocks from the convention center. I was there for a trade show. Beautiful area. Plus lots of restaurants, art galleries and more.

Eric’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was a cozy home in a nice location. We loved the spiral staircase! Leading up to the trip Eric was quick to reply. We did not encounter any issues during our trip.

Stayed in town for the music festival and it was exactly what we needed for the weekend.

So close to High Street, yet surprisingly quiet:) We walked everywhere. Roaming Goat Coffee, Northstar, Rossi’s, Out of the Closet thrift, Town Hall. Would stay there again.

Visitors should know that the home is across the street from a construction site.

This was perfect for our weekend getaway. Quiet, but close to the action on High St. 10/10 would stay here again.
