Private woodland retreat near Rainbow River

I love that is was in the woods. Not in a subdivision. It is very nice home and well taken care of.

Great place for a big family. Close to Rainbow River while secluded at the same time. Pool and fire pit were a hit with the kids! Would definitely come back. 5 minutes away from KP hole, and 10 minutes away from Rainbow River state park.

It was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed to cook and relax for our stay.

The whole house and outdoor areas were amazing. Spacious and fun. The inside of the house was ample and many different areas to hang out and chat and play games. The washer and dryer with the soap and dryer sheets were much appreciate. Tom the host was very nice and quick to get back to me. 20/10 experience. I hope to come back next year.

We had a great time at this house. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of games / things to do for our two little boys. The beds were comfy with plenty of extra pillows, blankets, nice towels, sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, spare ziplock bags, I could go on but you get the picture. A lot of thought went into making this place comfortable inside and out. The garage was nice to have. The location is secluded yet close to groceries and restaurants. Proximity to the springs was perfect, we went to 6 different springs and had a blast. Communication was excellent.

House is amazing as is the outside area around it. Tons of room and lots of different places for different groups to hang out in the house. Plenty of extra towels and linens. Host very quick to respond.

It was a lovely setting, nice and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and was very surprised that the kitchen and baths were well stocked with everything you need to cook and shower.

Great location. Lots of deer that would come right up to the backyard. Very clean & accommodating. Cozy atmosphere inside & outside. Owners definitely take pride in the care of this property to make your experience a memorable one! We will absolutely be back! Very close to beautiful Springs to swim & kayak.

A perfect location for proximity to river access without being in the hustle/bustle of river traffic. Serene property, impeccably clean, well laid out with lots of room and owner has taken care of all details for your stay. The pool is an additional high-light!

Overall we really liked our stay. The house is huge and has pretty much everything we needed for a few days. My son loved the pool and the main living area. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with dear passing by on the ground and horses living right behind. One thing I did not like was that the house was not the cleanest. I think it needs a good deep clean (shutters inside are very dusty/in general around the windows inside, the drawers of the dresser in the main room were dusty, the fridge is not the cleanest and had open stuff in it (some expired) and some empty and open bottles shampoo/body wash bottles were in the shower). Maybe it is a cultural thing (I am from Germany)..I would have expected everything to be clean and no food items at all. My American friend wasn't surprised about the food and open shampoo bottles.

My family and I rented this amazing home for my 50th birthday! The gathering area outside was beyond my expectations! So much space, beautifully decorated, comfortable, quietly tucked into the woods with horses and a couple of very quiet chickens behind the area. The inside had a fabulous amount of room for family games, cooking and gathering to eat. The weather was somehow perfect for morning and nightly fires but warm enough to float down the river during the day. The river access was a very short trip up the road. This house would/could be an annual vacation home. Oh, and the master bedroom and bathroom…..a dream! I Could not rate this house any higher!

This was by far our favorite rental we’ve ever stayed in! The home had everything we could possibly need—from spices in the kitchen to extra pillows, blankets, and toiletries. We loved how close it was to Rainbow Springs State Park—it gave us plenty of chances to kayak and take in the beautiful scenery. Our kids had a blast in the pool, and everything was super clean and ready for us when we arrived. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and there was more than enough space for our whole family. We definitely hope to stay here again!

What a lovely and peaceful spot! I even got to see some deer while I was there.

We had a large event in Florida and reserved the house for our stay. We have stayed at the beautiful house many times. It’s my first thing I do when I’m planning our travel. I always hesitate to give great reviews because I want to be selfish and keep it a secret Gem but everyone should enjoy the property. It is amazing, we love it and hope when you travel to Florida, you will find it as incredible as we do when we stay there.

We all loved the secluded location and the beauty of the wooded property. Even though it was secluded, there was everything you could possibly need within an 8-minute drive. We used the fire pit a couple different nights and made s’mores. The house itself was laid out raspy nicely and each of the 4 of us had our own rooms. The beds were comfy and there were tons of pillows and extra blankets. We loved sitting by the pool relaxing and would love to return in the hotter months so we could swim (pool is not heated). We had family over and there was ample room for everybody to have their own space and loads of conversation areas. The host was very responsive to our text questions and was very detailed in his responses, which was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall I give an excellent review. The layout of the house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the back yard area. The pool was nice, but too cold this time of year to enjoy. My only observation was related to the cleanliness. Could use a deep clean. Loved the location and the privacy.
