Private Pool & Hot Tub - Game Room - Private Beach in Gated Community

We enjoyed our stay; the place accommodated the us all!! The host just needs to make some updates to the property(washer &dryer and new sofas for front room) to enhance a better experience for all.

Great property. Thought pool was bigger in photos. Washing machine needs replacing.

Beautiful place in a very nice neighborhood

Very nice & quiet. Perfect for our group of 8! I only gave 4 stars because of issues with the elevator.

The good: - Absolutely awesome location. 2 minute walk to the gorgeous community beach.- Really big place, plenty of room for our family group of 7 adults and 2 kids.- Gated community so it's secluded and safeThe not so good:- The refund terms by the owners didn't match what Vrbo had listed; we had to sign a completely different agreement after putting money down through Vrbo. It worked out for us but might cause some problems for those booking for the near future expecting to be able to back out.- The place could use some maintenance. Everything mostly works (not the elevator) but there are things that need some love, like the upstairs showers. Probably time for some mattress replacements. - The kitchen drain smelled horrible. We wished that had been taken care of before we arrived.- Some basic supplies are offered (bar soap, shampoo, body wash) but they are small and limited, as are paper towels and toilet paper. Plan on a trip to the store.If it had been a little better maintained this would be a very easy 5 stars!

Needs ALOT of repairs but loved the area. We stayed previously in this area and absolutely loved it but not sure I’d recommend again.

Beautiful beach house. Everything was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and appliances. The pool is comfortable and great for sunbathing. It was a very short walk to the beach and the neighborhood is a great position to restaurants and shopping. Overall, we had a great time

Great private community rental! The slight inconvenience are the paper towel and toilet paper are too little to use for the duration of our stay.

We were not told we couldn’t bring our personal golf cart, so for first night we had to leave it at crab trap restaurant overnight. And I had knee surgery not to long ago, and was not able to use elevator, due to be broken half the time we were ther. And my husband got stuck in it also..

We had an amazing stay at this location! So close to the beach! Really enjoyed the pools and hot tubs also! I would definitely stay here again!!

Reviewer Comments: We arrived at Seahorse on a Thursday evening only to find out the house, a very nice home, had not been prepared for our arrival. First, the elevator was not working. This was a big disappointment because we chose this house because we needed the accommodations. Secondly, the outside pool and hot tub was dirty. The 3rd floor which held both master bedrooms had no hot water and the outlets did not work. The ice machine on the refrigerator was broken. It was awful. We called management and they sent someone out on Friday to fix the elevator. Then someone came on Saturday to clean the pool and hot tub. They sent a plumber and electrician, but they were not able to get the hot water nor the outlets fixed on the 3rd floor before we left. My family and I were only there for 3 days so by the time they got a few things fixed, it was time to leave. I felt like this was unacceptable and reached out to management about a refund. We received a refund of less than $200. Yet, we paid over $3000. We make this trip to Flordia every year and this home was our worst experience Ever!!

The location is great—the house is a very short walk to the beach and community pool. The house is very spacious, bedding is comfortable, and the elevator is an added convenience. Having an ice machine and two small refrigerators in addition to the main one in the kitchen is so helpful in keeping drinks cool. This property has ample room for four cars, which was a must for our family. Destiny by the Sea is our favorite place to stay in Destin and Sea Horse is a beautiful house with many amenities. The FunVacay team made booking easy and were great to work with. We had one maintenance issue, and FunVacay quickly sent a repairman to address the issue. We had a wonderful week!!

Had a maintenance issue that was addressed quickly. Furniture is outdated and some is in poor condition - kitchen bar stools. Upstairs bedroom carpet needs to be replaced.
