Private Point Lot! Jump Dock! Pool Table, Ping Ping! Partial Summer Weeks Avail!

Since 2016 I started getting my family together in December to have a Christmas gathering. We eat, play games, watch movies and so on. Well this is the second year we’ve done it at Mr. Edie’s home and it was as beautiful this time as it was the first! The pictures don’t do justice of how nice & clean the home is! I wish I had gotten more pics of the home.

This property is literally a very clean plug and play property! They have a lot of amenities which are listed in the description. My favorite was the ping pong table, pool table and BBQ area! The kitchen was amazing and everything is labeled to assist you locating specific items. We took advantage of fishing from the dock, kayaking (for the 1st time ever), ping pong, pool table, darts, checkers, corn hole and we also made spores in the fire pit. We will definitely be back to this property!

Super easy check in...wine waiting for us upon arrival. :)Kitchen is well stocked...3 coffee makers including a keurig with pods to use. Enough supplies for a large group.

Wonderful property! Great dock with accessories, nice location without too much boat traffic. Well stocked game rooms for escapes from the sun. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of fridge and freezer space. We’ll be booking again!

This place is fabulous for a large family. All 4 of my kids, their significant others and 7 grandchildren. Sleeping arrangements, the game room, the boat dock were great. The floating mat was perfect for young kids and was a daily hangout. The SUPs and Kayaks saw some use also. Nice level lot made it easy to get to and from the dock. The kitchens (2) have everything you need and it is all organized and labeled, so it is easy to find. Reclining couches and the big screen TV made quiet time with the kids (and parents) a hit. Thanks for an awesome family vacation!!

This house was the perfect spot for our annual FIT4MOM Richmond Retreat! The house was exceptional and had everything we needed and more! 2 nights just wasn’t enough!

Pictures absolutely do not do this property justice. All the amenities that you could need in a clean spacious house. Boat dock is amazing and we all had a fantastic time out on the kayaks in the cove!

Beautiful property and spacious enough for our large family! Lots of amenities provided such as kayaks and paddle boards, a nice fire pit and two game rooms.

This place had a lot to do. Kayaks included was amazing, pool table and ping pong. Had plenty to do even though it was winter. Looks like an amazing place for a summer vacation.

The home was better than the pictures advertised. The owner, Edie, only spoke with through text was so nice. My family and I REALLY enjoyed ourselves and made so many memories!

Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and generously stocked. Floatin' and Boatin' is a wonderful place for making family memories. Tons to do and plenty of room to do it in. The owners are easy to contact, responsive, and proactive. The entire process from start to finish was flawless. Can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to go back!

We love staying here! Ample space for our group, we love the fire pit and fishing of the dock. The kitchen is well stocked, we make all our meals here and haven't found that we needed anything. Great communication with host. Looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful place with plenty of room!!

We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation.

Excellent!! Place worked great for our whole family. Grandkids spent a lot of time on the floating mat or the Big Bubba we rented. Having kayaks and stand up paddle boards was a treat. The house had so many things inside for entertainment as well. Edie was great at communicating and a pleasure to deal with.

Since our lake trip, everytime I speak with my kids they keep raving about our lake trip...yes, alot of it is being together but The Red Tin Roof house made it so much more...the house has ever thing we needed and more. We're all trying to figure out a date to go back! The one time I phoned the owner, she texted back almost immediately ...the only problem we all had was we ran out of time...thanks so much!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at the lake house! Everything was exactly as described, and it comfortably accommodated all 16 of us, ranging in age from 8 to 72. The house had all the amenities we needed, and the views were stunning. Edie, the owner, was super helpful and incredibly responsive throughout our stay, making sure everything was just right. It was a wonderful time for everyone, and we can't wait to come back!

Floatin and Boatin is one of the nicest properties we have ever vacation at as a family. The owners are very quick to respond and they make sure you have the best vacation experience. 5 stars for sure.

We had such a great week at Floatin and Boatin! The house is on a peaceful and beautiful part of the lake! We enjoyed the dock and the splash mat along with the paddle boards and kayaks! The kids enjoyed fishing and jumping off the top dock. This house has everything you could possibly want in a lake home. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen we have ever seen at a vrbo and everything in the house is neatly labeled and organized! The beds were comfortable and the house has plenty of seating and areas to hang out! The downstairs game rooms and extra kitchen were a much added bonus and something we really enjoyed having! Edie was so responsive any time we needed anything and was quick to help with all our questions. We had such a great week and would definitely come back to this house !!
