Private mountaintop cabin with hot tub, pool table, and breathtaking views

Great property! Had plenty of towels, linens and stocked kitchen! Clean and secluded just what we were looking for!! Owners were prompt if I had questions...definitely will stay here again when looking for a get away!

The property, the views, the experience was spectacular !!! The hosts’ communication couldn’t have been better!The house was spotless and all appliances worked perfectly. One suggestion was the downstairs toilet would not “evacuate” effectively despite no clog and the hot tub never reached setpoint temperature, much too cool. I would definitely come here again ….

Perfect refreshing getaway. Incredible view. We saw a bald eagle. The large yard and landscaping was a mountain top botanical garden. The cabin was relaxed and homey. The many inviting decks enhanced the tranquil ambience. Except for the occasional jet, distant train, or vehicle coming up the mountain, all we could hear from the decks were natural sounds. Private but not isolated. The beds were comfortable, the bedding and bath linens high quality. The downstairs shower was amazing.Perfect location. Short, easy drive to Berkley Springs for excellent dining, charming/historic New England architecture and a unique & worthwhile experience at the downtown historic Berkley Springs Park. We highly recommend dining at Proof on Washington, Lighthouse Latte & Cacapon Resort State Park resort restaurant.Though we highly recommend this VRBO and it was perfect for us. Here are a few things to know when making your decision: If you are afraid of heights the drive and decks may be scary for you. Not good if you have problems with stairs. If stargazing is a priority, there is considerable light pollution from nearby towns. Though there are amble books, games, videos, outdoor living accommodations, there are few pampering accommodations like an extensive coffee/tea bar, fancy soaps, etc.If you want a restorative get-a-way without your children or elderly, reserve now.Thank you Brent & Krithika.

Our stay was truly remarkable! It was close to everything like the shops and restaurants and away enough that we went back and relaxed in the hot tub and played games and relaxed! It’s a great location and the views are remarkable!! Loved the stay and definitely will be back! Everything was clean and neat.

I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing experience! The views are spectacular and the amenities were great. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and just looking out at the view. The host was quick with responses and the home was clean.

The house, the views, and amenities were exactly as described online. And, it exceeded what was written with a few surprise features - like bluetooth a enabled stereo system, zone speakers (inside and outside) that easily connects to your phone. Great Place!

Expectations exceeded! Perfect for a wintery early spring getaway, hot tubbing in the snow watching the clouds coast overhead. The cabin itself is well heated and features a great sound system, a well equipped kitchen, multi-tiered decks, and a fantastic panoramic view of the river valley. I appreciated the quick & kind responses to my questions prior to visiting. The only piece of advice I have is to make sure you have your check in info downloaded prior to visiting because you will have to stand at the edge of the deck to get enough service to pull up the reservation if you are as dumb as me and didn't do it beforehand. Also google maps sent us to a weird lot on the other side of the hill and we ended up navigating blind for a moment there, wasn't that bad and didn't delay us very long. Could have been because we used the street address not the geo coordinates? Anyway not a big deal. THANK YOU!

The property was dirty and had alive and dead (huge) cockroaches. Both beds had multiple hairs on bedsheets. The house was overall unclean and dusty. The driveway was not clear at the top making passage impossible.

We booked the cabin for a weekend get away. The cabin was great. My boyfriend purposed to me and I left the ring at the cabin! Please contact me ASAP!

Very nice spot with interesting layout. The hot water heater requires an aluminum anode rod, as your mineral mix in the well is most likely high in manganese. The sulfuric stench is such that we didn’t want to use the hot water at all. I read other reviews along the same lines, so it has been brought to the owners attention, yet not remedied. Therefore, we wouldn’t stay again unless it was guaranteed that it has been fixed.

Gorgeous view, clean property, everything you need. Remote location with an easy drive to town and hiking. Great Cacapon State Park is close and worth the visit.

This is a great way to get away and enjoy nature. We would have liked the hot tub to have worked properly but wasn't the case for our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to others.

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet as the summer season was over. Rained most of the time we were there as remnants of hurricane Helena passed thru. We spent a lot of time just relaxing, hot tubbing between rain drops and hanging out on the covered deck (our favorite spot). Pool table room very nice. Huge bathroom downstairs. Area was nice with town close by, just down the very windy road. No complaints, would recommend to friends.

Best view ever! So many different sitting areas outside. We saw a shooting star one night while in the hot tub. Good selection of cook wear and spices, if you forgot any. Bed was very comfortable and great communication with manager. Nice walk down to the river. Lots of great shops in town. The little general store was great and very friendly people.

This cabin was exactly what we needed. The views are incredible and we got to see 2 Bald Eagles flying across the vista together every evening. Although it feels remote, we enjoyed the quick and easy drive to Berkeley Springs. The little town has great restaurants and breweries.

The house was beautiful inside. The views breathtaking. Easy check in and clear directions for checking out. Only issue was hot tub needs a cleaning and probably chemicals.

We barely saw the town because we couldn’t convince ourselves to leave this cabin, on the ridge of a beautiful mountain. We had a downpour followed by a full rainbow. It’s just magical here.
