This was absolutely the most awesome rental we have ever had! The listing doesn’t do it justice! Our 3 grandkids loved the fact that they had their own house! We loved the outdoor kitchen area! Watched baseball games at night there and had a few naps during the day! This was the cleanest rental we have ever experienced! And absolutely no smells or odors of any kind which we loved!!! Beds were extremely comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked! We did a lot of grilling which was real handy on the deck right off the main living area! You felt at home from day one! And the owner, Trippe was the best! Making sure we had everything we needed! Informed us of an amazing fireworks show that the neighbor does every 4th of July (which was awesome). He even sent Krispy Kreme Doughnuts via Grub Hub one day! I have never known an owner be more concerned with guests being comfortable and happy than he was! The whole experience for our family’s yearly lake trip was just the best ever at The Fish Camp!!! One more thing…the fenced area was perfect for our 2 grand dogs! Lots of room to throw balls with them. And lots of chairs on the decks and on the dock! I could go on and on, but I hope you see what an wonderful stay you will have if you rent this place! Oh by the way, the pan fish that my grandson caught off the dock were delicious! And he had a blast catching them! There was generous concrete parking area for all our cars. Thank you Trippe!

My family and I had an amazing week at The Fish Camp! It is everything they describe and more. The house was very spacious and well equipped for all of our needs. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had, not just about the house but about things to do or places to go to in the area. We even rented a boat that was delivered right to the dock! I would highly recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a relaxing lake life vacation home!

This is our 10th trip to Eatonton in different VRBO properties and this was one of our favorite trips!! The place was perfect.. We loved having the main house, cottage and loft. Our family each had their own space but yet we felt so close. Loved the perch! We spent a lot of time there just playing games and laughing with family. The fishing was amazing!! We caught 2 huge catfish with a lot of smaller ones as well, blue gills and bass. Trippe was awesome to work with and super helpful!! We can’t wait to stay again!!

This is our second time staying here and it was as incredible as the first time . The space is well laid out for families or friends traveling together . We had 4 couples and each couple had their own space to relax in but we were also a short walk to a commons area to all hangout . Everything is labeled for you so you do lot have to worry where pots and pans are for cooking and the host is very responsive and one of the most helpful host I have ever encountered.

We had a fabulous weekend staying at the lake house. It’s a beautiful location with lots of room to enjoy family time and even solitude. We especially loved all the seating areas, on the deck, near the boat house, the cute screened in porch and the swings with the bonfire. All perfect for a family gathering and close to Georgia College and State University. The owners made them selves available for our questions and shared advice on where to shop and pick up things you may have forgotten. Everyone had a great time and wants to comeback. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the lake because of how spoiled we were with all the great amenities!!!

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this Lake Sinclair gem hosted by Trippe, and we’re already planning our next trip! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. Trippe went above and beyond — even leaving thoughtful treats for us upon arrival, which was such a sweet and personal touch. The home itself had “everything” you could possibly need — a fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, games and activities for the kids, cozy outdoor spaces, and plenty of room for everyone to relax. You can tell that a lot of care and attention to detail went into making this place feel like a true retreat. The setting is absolutely perfect — peaceful, scenic, and right on the lake. We spent our days swimming, kayaking, fishing, hot tubbing, and soaking in the beautiful views. In the evenings, we gathered for family time around the fire pit, played games, and made memories that will last a lifetime. This place is “perfect” for families — we had kids ages 13 to17 and older parents with us, and there was something for everyone. Even our dog had the time of her life! It's not easy to find a rental that's truly pet-friendly and family-friendly, but this one checks all the boxes.Trippe was incredibly attentive and responsive throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed and offering great local tips. It truly felt like staying at a friend’s home rather than a rental.

Our family of three grandchildren ages 4, 6, and 8 plus their parents, a fur baby, my husband and I had the best time over the fourth of July at the Fish Camp on Lake Sinclair. Trippe has the perfect set-up to enhance family fun on site for seven days straight. He kept in touch and made us feel part of his family. We ALL loved swimming and paddle boarding off the beach area and dock. The spa gave a quick reprieve on a cloudy morning while dad fished from the dock. He caught a medium sized blue cat! After playing yard games on the grassy lawn, we would venture up and play vintage PacMan! We even enjoyed movie night in the loft - dad and the kids had a glamp sleepover in the loft as well! The main house hosted family dinners, game nights and we even completed three puzzles with the kids. Friendly card games on the deck with checkers on the screened porch kept mom busy - not to mention the sunning on the floats (Trippe has a full stockpile of floats perfect for enjoying the lake safely). The beachy area is great for water play for the pup and kids - not to mention the fenced area that allowed Griffin to play endless chase with the grandkids. The kitchen has everything for cooking and making desserts plus the grill was key in giving us that outdoor taste and quick meals of burgers, dogs, chicken. We ate out only once. We were very content to stay at home on Lake Sinclair. The fireworks show on the dock was phenomenal!! A fairy tale ending - better than Disney!

The Fish Camp deserves 15 stars! Six of us stayed, plus our furbaby, and we had more than enough room and privacy. The pictures from Vrbo looked interesting, but you never know until you get there Trust me when I say The Fish Camp is the most beautiful, amazing, unique, luxurious, and fun rental we have ever booked. Our host, Trippe Wilkes, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. And it was! Beautiful blend of elegance and rustic. Very comfortable beds! Water views! The structures! We were there 5 days and four nights and barely left the property, although restaurants, shopping, and groceries are nearby. So peaceful and quiet. So much for us to do right there at the property. We fished from the dock and caught enough fish to feed 6 adults. We built fires at the swing and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. We played giant jenga and connect-four in the perch. Cornhole competition in the big, fenced back yard. Kayaked. Stargazed. We cannot recommend The Fish Camp high enough. We didn't want to leave and will be back. Don't miss an opportunity to stay at this magical paradise. You won't regret it!

My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO's over the years. I can NOT say enough about this place and the host. I've never stayed in a place so clean and the attention to detail is by far over the top. And SO organized; labels on everything and instructions. And the place, amazing!! The water views; amazing! The sunrise over the water; amazing! The house and other buildings; amazing! The host; amazing! Sent me a text to make sure we had what we needed, had any questions and was always available if I did. We were there for Superbowl and he wanted to make sure we knew how to get the big game on. :) Not always so simple with technology that you are not familiar with in someone else's home. So in closing, no other word fits simply because it was amazing! :) I felt at home, cozy, and didn't want to leave. :)

We stayed at the The Fish Camp at Lake Sinclair as a family gathering spot. We picked this property because of the way it was laid out - with a main house and 2 separate cottages steps away, so that everyone could have their own private space. Each space was extremely well appointed and everything you could want has been provided - grills, hot tub, dock, firepits, paddleboards, kayaks, fenced yard (for pups), Bluetooth speakers all around, tv streaming services, life jackets, floats....... too many things to name. The (inside main house) kitchen is extremely well stocked - we found everything we needed! The outdoor screened kitchen/smokehouse is just WOW - so cool!!! The hosts are the best I have ever dealt with - extremely helpful and accommodating. They were very welcoming and checked on us throughout our stay to ensure that all was well. The house was very clean (and I am very picky) and everything is in great condition. The setting is just beautiful. We all want to go back!!!

Cannot say enough good things about The Fishcamp at Lake Sinclair! Perfect setup for our family of 10. The beach/sandbar area was great for our little ones. Our 8 and 10 year olds loved staying in the loft bedroom. Has lots of great amenities. Great deck on the back and screened porch on the side. Trippe was the best host. Recommended boat rentals and closest grocery stores and kept in contact with us the whole time we were there. Any questions we had were answered immediately. Incredible owner/manager - he is better at texting me than my best friend. And is tied with my google calendar in reminding me of things. And he/they threw in nice extras at the house (will save the surprise for you but someone else probably already commented the specifics) Wonderful house(s) - the three housing options speak for themselves. The kitchen's spice cabinet was better stocked than mine at home. They provide so many extra towels and dog toys/treats. Incredibly thoughtful and hospitable. I want to go to Thanksgiving dinner at their house. It's probably like a medieval feast. Beautiful/usable property - so many extras. Fenced in yard for kids and dogs; shady so great on a hot day. Kayaks, paddleboards, floats, life jackets, fishing poles for recreation fun. For relaxing, there is a hot tub, two fire pits, two loungers at the beach area, two southern porch swings, two hammocks, and plenty of chairs on the dock. Flat/usable yard between the fenced area and water, a beach area and the water isn't very deep so pretty safe for young ones if you keep an eye on them. It also doesn't feel like that mushy rotting leaf/branch goo that's typically at the bottom of a lake. More sandy/muddy. We were able to pull a pontoon up to the dock on the deeper side (1-2 feet but enough for a pontoon). The setting is possibly the best on the lake - it's on a main water section so you get the view of the full lake and a strong sense of privacy b/c it's on a small peninsula. *12stars*
