Beautifully crafted in 2007, this lakefront gem is just the place to let your worries slip away. This home sits on an acre-and-a-half lot that boasts 240 feet of lake frontage that will be ideal for fishing and swimming come summer. When you come up from the beach, an outdoor shower awaits to rinse off sandy toes and suits! Inside, you will find an airy and open layout featuring high cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water, rustic wood paneling, and a wood stove to cozy up beside after a full day of adventure. When everyone works up an appetite, the full kitchen is equipped with Corian countertops, oak cabinets, modern appliances, a spacious island, and a double sink to make any recipe a breeze. Relaxation won't be hard to come by either with a hammock, newer deck, comfortably furnished living areas, and the south-facing sunroom. Not to mention, the main bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom complete with a deep jetted tub to soak in each night.
The slow island lifestyle is the main draw in this area, as bonfires, boating, biking, and swimming are all great ways to use each day. When you need to grab a few necessities, the local market is less than a mile south to stock up on groceries. Not to mention, state parks and scenic drives to the other islands and cities nearby will be great for venturing out and experiencing the beautiful landscape this area is known for.

The house is beautiful and we had a great weekend here. Unfortunately, there was mouse poop in the silverware drawers. I have reached out to vacasa with no response.
The cabin had everything we needed! It was spacious and comfortable!
One of best parts about the house was the heated flooring on the ground floor. It was a warm and cozy stay.
Everything
Very nice cabin feel. The upstairs loft and bedroom was great and very unique. Bed was very comfortable.
Nice cabin by the lake. Overall it met our needs . A bit secluded & distant from stores & restaurants. Cleaning needs improvement
The location was great for our purposes. House was nice other than the main floor bathroom. Was not in good condition. The shower leaked everywhere including into the nearby bedroom. Desperately needs an upgrade in that area. Upstairs bedroom was beautiful!
The house is very spacious, comfortable, well equipped, beautiful location, great views of the water. Cons: Main floor bathroom need to be updated, the shower needs to be replaced. Dock needs to be fixed, it was submerged & unusable.
The positives: really cool house and we just loved the master bedroom and bathroom. The soaking tub was an amazing treat! The property was quite large and our dogs had a blast. Slight negatives: the grill and dishwasher doesn’t work. The outdoor umbrella on the picnic table was broken too. These aren’t dealbreakers and we adjusted our plans. However, it would have been helpful to be given a heads up ahead of time that way we can prepare. Bring plastic utensils, paper plates etc. - the closest market was a decent drive away.
Location was nice and quiet. Disappointing that the dock and kayaks were not out yet.
Had a great week at “It’s Kismet” on North Hero.. spring fishing on Lake Champlain. The house was in a great location, close to three boat launches, right on the Auberg Passage. “It’s Kismet” was just as described… worked out very well for our four fishermen. We will definitely consider renting this property again in the future.
The house was beautiful on the inside and was closer to the water then we expected. Located on a nice private road, just don’t accidentally drive past the house to the end because you will be greatest by an angry women who clearly doesn’t like “renters”. The house was very well stocked with everything you should need. The living room furniture could use some updating and the shower/jet tub in the master didn’t work but the beautiful bed and view made up for it. Don’t plan to grill anything because the grill has one working burner.
We liked the location for this cabin. However, it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly .. deck had some sticky stuff from previous stays. Grill doesn’t work. Wood stove is just a show piece. Upon complaining to the owner, they mentioned that they will send some one to clean but never arrived. Neighbors dogs could be annoying as they were barking at us whenever we were out.
10 out of ten, my only suggestion is a house number marker at end of the driveway. super nice place!
The view is beautiful, and the location very quiet. There is a wonderful deck looking towards the lake. We also were happy with the air conditioners to keep it cool on the inside. We were surprised at the 2 broken chairs on the back deck, and that there was no shower connected in the in the main bathroom just a tub, upstairs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in North Hero! The house was unique and well stocked of necessities - toiletries, linens, dish and hand soap, detergent, etc. The lake views were beautiful. Many locally owned shops and restaurants 10-30 minutes away to choose from. The neighborhood is very quiet. The only negatives I can think of is that there’s only one shower, and that bathroom needs some work (caulk is discolored, old water damage on the wall). Like someone else mentioned, the large jetted tub can only be filled 6-8” or so. Otherwise, it was perfect! We loved our vacation home.
House was in a great location, quiet and secluded. Tried several times to contact owner/managers of the property regarding dock and ability to moor a fishing boat. Never received a response. This was offset somewhat by beautiful sunsets and cozy interior.
We enjoyed the house and the views were perfect. It was a great getaway! Spacious rooms, good kitchen, ample space for everyone. The draw back was that there was only one shower.
Nice place. Accurate listing. Great views of lake. Comfortable house with all you’d need. And a big library of VHS tapes!!
The view of theblake is beautiful and the area is very quite and peaceful
