Just what we needed to break away from all the stress of life. It was quiet and peaceful! I especially enjoyed the kayaks and lake access...there is nothing like Lake Champlain at sunrise.
We loved the place and all the amenities, especially kayaks, grill, puzzles, games, and fire pit. Clean place, beautiful environs, lots of exploring. Recommended!
This is just what we pictured for a cabin by the lake. Wooded, private, and on the water with some kayaks. The house was tastefully finished and everything was where we needed it, down to the chilled mugs in the freezer!
This is a dream location if you are a fan of lake dwelling! The property has private lake access plus kayaks and fishing poles! The inside of the house is comfortable, well stocked, and very clean.
We enjoyed our stay at this cute Lake Champlain cottage. The boat dock was a big plus, as well as the kayaks. We had everything we needed. Loved the lake views from the large windows. Very comfortable and nice decor.
ChatGPT My family enjoyed an entire week of both tranquility and fun. The spacious home was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchen met all our needs. We found a perfect balance between unwinding by the firepit, evening fishing sessions, and leisurely cruises in the four available kayaks, keeping boredom at bay throughout our stay. Exploring downtown, we discovered an extraordinary store renowned as one of VT's most unique, offering a diverse array of products. The breathtaking views from the house and the scenic drive to the local pristine beach added to the overall experience. Without a doubt, we would eagerly return, as we are immensely grateful for this wonderful and much-needed getaway. Thank you once again for providing us with such a fantastic experience.
It was very comfortable. All the air conditioners and mini splits worked perfectly. The shower was great perfect shelving and water pressure. The house was so clean. The towels, the beach towels and the laundry facilities clean too! The kitchen had great pots and pans and a few storage containers which worked out wonderful. There were a lot of stairs down to the dock, but my friends and I (all age 60) actually enjoyed the exercise. We brought the lightweight Adirondack chairs down to the dock because we didn’t want to sit out back at the fire pit. We wanted to be near the water. There were 4 of us so it worked out just right. The view from the kitchen table was spectacular.
Over all we had a nice time and perfect place to be if you like less people. Kids had a lot of fun kayaking and fishing. Everything in the house worked as it should. Lucky we were able to use the grille tank as a back up because the stove in the house ran out the last night and day there. Thank you for helping us enjoy our vacation in Vermont!
The property manager Claire was wonderful to work with - accommodating and quick to respond! There was a welcome bottle of wine and a nice note waiting upon our arrival. The checkin and checkout process were very easy. The house itself is adorable - nicely updated kitchen and bathrooms. The views from indoors and the top deck are wonderful and I watched the sunrise from the dock ! We enjoyed our breakfast on the upper deck with stools overlooking the lake. Location is quiet and safe. The house is 2 stories with a staircase that can be challenging to navigate if you have mobility issues, just something to keep in mind. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return again !
Comfortable and welcoming, we enjoyed our four day stay. We had a small issue upon our arrival and contacted the owner, who promptly addressed it. Beautiful lake views, dock with kayaks, fire ring and propane grill. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks!
Our family enjoyed our stay in North Hero, during the 2023 UVM graduation weekend. The house was the perfect size with two large bedrooms and a pull out couch. Enjoying our meals with a view of the bay was beautiful and so relaxing during a very busy weekend full of celebrations. The kitchen was fully stocked making preparing our meals very enjoyable. Carrie was great to work, keeping in constant communication up until our arrival, ensuring our stay was perfect. I highly recommend staying at this location.
Kayaking, campfires, local farmers markets. Just outside Burlington we have a nice long weekend
My husband and I visited for our anniversary and it was the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors as well as each other’s company. It was great to have the opportunity to enjoy the lake at any time, but also a gorgeous view and comfortable home on the day as it rained. Carrie was great with communication and they even left us a congratulatory bottle of wine.
This cabin was clean and cute and in a great location. The owner provided great communication and check in and out was super simple.
Our stay in Carrie's home was amazing. The location is perfect - secluded and quiet with the perfect lake access. Home has everything you will need to enjoy your time on the lake. Kayaks, fishing poles, fire pit, balcony, amazing windows, and plenty more. Do not hesitate to book this location! We will definitely be back!
My family and I had a great stay at this lovely cottage in North Hero. The listing very accurate and the unit was clean and well equipped. There was a safety gate which was great for our 8 month old and our 4 year old loved going out on the kayaks! Lots of clean towels, well stocked kitchen (cutlery, pots, pans etc) and BBQ for grilling. Carrie was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
We had a great time at this cute cottage on North Hero. It is the perfect place to just get away or explore the Champlain Islands. We especially loved going out onto the bay with the kayaks. We even caught a pike, largemouth bass, and perch! The stars are amazing on a clear night too. The host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
