Stayed Aug 12, 2018Stayed three nights and had a great time. Plenty to do inside to stay out of the hot afternoon sun with movies and games and a beautiful kitchen. Well kept canal and dock to keep us busy outside! Grilled every night and enjoyed the outside patio. Hope to stay here every time we visit Rockport!

Stayed Jun 8, 2025House was great. Able to tie the boat up to the dock made it quick and easy to get in the boat and go fish. Caught a little of everything, Great experience and would rent again.

Stayed May 2, 2025Easy pull in with plenty of room for 2 cars and a boat trailer. From the outside the house looks a little dated but when you walk in it is an updated retreat. They provide a Keurig with pods and fixings. Be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body soap though. The kid's room has a small TV with a Wii and games. The master and the 2nd king bed room have a TV. There is a very small living area with a TV also, but the couch seemed to low? It was a little uncomfortable. I guess you really shouldn't be planted in front of the TV in the living room when you're down at the coast anyway. We were just staying 2 nights so we didn't cook anything, but it seemed like they had everything you might need for meals. The only other complaint I had (because it only seemed to affect me and not my husband or kids) is that it is so near the highway that you can hear the road noise when every single car goes by. But, by the 2nd night I had either become accustomed to it or was just too tired to register the noise. Overall this was a very nice place to stay!

Stayed Oct 25, 2024We had a wonderful time in this excellent property! Everything was as described and we enjoyed a very peaceful stay. The house is cozy and my son and I had a great night of fishing right from the dock! The property owner was communicative and helpful. He was willing to and ready to offer suggestions for things to do in the area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great location. Clean and plenty of room. With the boat dock and cleaning station, it's ideal for a fishing trip to not have to haul the boat everywhere by trailer and miss all of that time on the water. Well equipped kitchen to cook up all of those fish!
