Very old house, but clean

We spent a month in this house and were very pleased! It has a nice layout-very open floor plan. The outdoor patio area was nice, but being a mere 9 houses from beach or river in the other direction was wonderful! We watched sunrises by day and sunsets by night. We got to see several rocket launches while there as well. What we loved best was how quiet the neighborhood was around us! If you are a dog lover this area is for you--we walked with A LOT of fellow dog walkers on A1A (sidewalk right next to beach)---we watched dolphins swim along as we walked (dogs not allowed on the beach)

The pool was awesome and the responsiveness of the management company was great.

Very roomy! About 9 houses to the beach. It’s an older house but nice & open. Perfect for 6 adults. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Ormond beach is fantastic & not busy!

Great house for all family

We were very please with house and pool. both were clean and house has so much room. Location of house is idea , very close to beach and many good restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our 8 days and would stay there again.

We've done 4 beach trips in less than a year, and this was our favorite house! It was clean, spacious and well-stocked. There was a gas grill, plenty of bath towels and beach towels, and a beach wagon and chairs, pool toys, etc. The kitchen is well-equipped. The screened-in pool was clean and sparkling, and the water was cool but still usable during early April. The backyard is completely fenced in with room for kids or a dog. The house itself is very pleasant, the beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and the garage was a nice bonus. The icemaker doesn't work, and there were no ice trays, so we picked up a bag of ice --- no big deal, just be aware. The manager, Faye, is very responsive and helpful. The best part: a 3 minute stroll and you're on the beach! This is a mostly single-family residential area, so the beach was never ever crowded, even during spring break time, and it was easy to cross A1A. A 3 minute walk west from the house will put you at the intracoastal, visible between the houses along John Anderson Pkwy. There are restaurants and gas stations nearby, and the Publix grocery is just a 5 minute drive south. This is a very quiet, friendly family neighborhood. Ormond Beach is well situated for any day trips you may want to make, and the area by the Halifax River is very pretty. We can't wait to come back!

The house was clean, however, we were greeted by a giant cockroach shortly after arrival. But it is Florida, after all. While the house was nice, the back patio and yard was a mess. There were multiple torn screens, the outdoor furniture was dirty/moldy and there was junk all around the yard. There were also light bulbs missing from several lights so we had to buy some. That was a bit annoying.

The home was accessorized nicely, beds were comfortable. Pool was green 3 nights of my stay, had to spend a lot of time cleaning when we arrived before I would put food away, very poor housekeeping. The door to the garage was coming out of the frame, a lot of lights did not work properly, the ice maker did not work we had to buy ice. I should have done more research on the distance to the beach was further than I thought.
