Private 4 bedroom home near beach and on golf course

The neighborhood was great for taking our dog for a walk. The area was quiet and the house was comfortable. There are a bunch of stairs so if you have mobility issues be aware.

it is a great a property. At the end of a road, it felt quiet and safe. the nature off the back deck is amazing. Over a dozen turtles, birds roost for the night off the back deck, we even saw an Osprey.

Perfect weekend! We Wish could have stayed longer. House was clean, well stocked, location in the best we have stayed at Edisto. We hope to return in the future! Thank you for sharing a piece of paradise with us!

Roomy home for families or friends. Wonderful decks wrap 3 sides of the house. Lots of wildlife. House is a bit worn, but comfortable.

Fantastic, quiet location by lagoon with lots of wildlife. Very nice house with plenty of space, nice bedrooms, and big sunlit living room. Edisto Island itself is always a great destination.

The location was ideal for watching the wildlife from the deck. I also appreciate the ability to vacation with my pets. The place really needs a deep cleaning and we wondered if it had been minimally cleaned before our arrival. I really enjoyed several aspects of the property but not sure I would stay again.

This is an excellent location & the lagoon out back was such a nice touch! Property could use a good deep cleaning & outside cleaning but otherwise we had a great stay! We will definitely rent this place again!

Great little hidden gem! The views from the back deck are spectacular. My kids enjoyed watching for alligators every day, which we saw about every day! The birds decorating the trees at sunset were a sight to see. We always enjoy our visit at Edisto but staying here made it even better. The house could use some fixing up and the floors needed a good scrub, but we would definitely stay here again; that wouldn't stop us from renting here again.

The views of the lagoon and wildlife were awesome!! If you play golf, that view was pretty awesome too!

Overall, this was a great property. The people who last cleaned left some material out for us to put away, but it was no big deal. The back deck area was stunning and the directions to get to a local beach or super easy. We will probably stay here again.

What a great place for a family getaway! Clean and well equipped, the home was spacious, open and brightly lit, overlooking a quiet lagoon/aviary. Our grandsons delighted in observing egrets returning each night to roost just feet from the huge deck. It's like we're in a tree house! We love the quiet feel of Edisto Island. We'll be back!

The house was nice, great location… however, the back upper deck needed cleaning. My biggest problem with the house it had a serious problem with water bugs. I actually left a day before check out, and stayed with friends whom lives on the resort because I was sick of the water bugs.

Come get lost in this beautiful Lagoon hidden within the Edisto Plantation Golf Course and Wyndham Communities. Great location where the back porch over looks hole one, the Edisto Beach Water Tower, and a beautiful Lagoon full of nature. Serpentarium from your back yard with the amount of gators you will see! Luckily most are small but you'll know when the mama gator is around. Backporch is great with a great outdoor shower to enjoy nature. Hundreds of Egrets come in during the evening to sleep. House is roomy as well, big bed rooms and open concept. Fenced in back deck was great and the house has great character overall. Our family had a great stay and would highly recommend this home!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family. We enjoyed all the wildlife and the location was perfect and quiet at the end of the road. The ownerJohn was so helpful with any questions i had. We will be renting here again next year. Diamond in the rough for sure.

Excellent place to stay. The nature sights are unbelievable. Saw all sizes of alligators, deer, and the birds in the evening decorating the trees made it look like a Christmas tree.

Views of the wildlife were amazing! We saw egrets, herons, ospreys, wood storks, alligators, and deer! And, the lagoon is a rookery so n the evening literally dozens of birds fly in to sleep for the night. Every evening you have a free nature show!
