This was a beautiful property, exactly as the pictures showed. It was perfect for our 6-person girls trip to Portland, which was just a 15-minute drive away. The house was very private, beautiful, and clean. Vacasa made check-in and check-out seamless, and we were even notified when the house was ready for us so we could check-in early

Beautiful house in a secluded spot by a lake. Loved every minute of it, our experience there was great.

Stayed here with my son, DIL and 3 grandchildren (an almost 2 yr old and 8 mo twins) and found this property to be a wonderful retreat. The main living space was open so we could see all the kids, they had plenty of room to play and there was room for 4 adults. We had an issue with the shower that was addressed in a timely manner. What couldn’t be helped or foreseen was the water level in the pond was low so the sandy beach was more of a dirt/muddy area and the water was stagnant and not good to put the kids in….only mentioning that if your vacation hinges on having a usable “beach” on property. Didn’t hinder us at all as the expansive yard was perfect for the kids and there was a hose we hooked up to our splash pad that was just as fun. We loved sitting on the deck for morning coffee or at night with a glass of wine at the fireplace….so serene and peaceful. We saw ducks, birds, turkeys and a beaver! Property had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. Beds were comfortable, close to everything (restaurants/stores etc) but down a long driveway so secluded and private. We had a great family vacation.

We had a great family vacation with 4 adults and 3 littles (almost 2 and 8 months twins). The yard was fantastic to put down a blanket, throw out some toys and sit at the picnic table. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning having coffee and looking out at the pond, and the sunsets were amazing. Only downside was (no fault of owners) the pond water was low so the sandy beach was more mud/dirt and the water was stagnant so a no go for the kids. Didn’t deter us we got a splash pad and they all had a ball. Beds were comfortable and had a great layout with the open floor plan. Had everything we needed to cook meals there. Great place!

Sitting outside was lovely. Comfortable furniture, great view of a small pond, back far enough so we didn't hear traffic. Only birds, ducks and other wildlife

We loved this property. Very clean. Conveniently located for shopping and sightseeing. Perfect for our 5 person group. Definitely recommend!

House was beautiful, isolated and peaceful. 15 minutes away from Portland and 4 minutes away from Walmart and other stores. It was very clean and had a nice kichen although we did not use it , it would be great for a larger group.

It was central located for lower Maine. I would say too far south if you are planning to go north and east toward Park. Wifi is not great...and with that only smart tvs available so no local channels. Can't watch news or weather for the local area. Lights switches are crazy to figure out what lights run what.

This house is exactly as advertised. It is clean and spacious, with a beautiful covered porch overlooking the lake. We are so glad we chose this place and would definitely consider coming back.

Charming log cabin with comfortable furniture & clean accommodations. We really enjoyed lounging in the hot tub and playing pool. The house has mini-splits in each room for temperature control which is a great bonus. The views of the lake are gorgeous and it is nice and quiet even though it is near a busy road. 5 stars!

This adorable abode is tucked away in Scarborough, 15 minutes from downtown. But, you can tell it is not run by an owner, rather a company only in it for the profit. We were left two trash bags, four pods for wash, four towels (there were five people), and a salt and pepper shaker. So, no spices, old cutlery, etc. We rented this place for its proximity to Portland (check plus on that front), and for the amenities, which mostly did not work. The tvs/internet would not work most the trip, and the hot tub was out of order. We contacted Vacasa and received a chatbot response about the issues. Nothing was done, nothing fixed. If I could go back to this property under new management that cared about the customer experience, I would in a heart beat as it was beautiful and secluded. But to pay this amount for such poor service was unfortunate.

This home is perfect and sits gorgeously on the lake front. We all spent down time catching small bass right out front. It's also a perfect location in the woods and away from the traffic, but close enough to everything you need to get to. This cabin and its location were perfect for our Maine vacation.

We loved the place especially the quiet setting on the lake. It felt like you were out in the woods away from the city but were really only a few minutes from it. The house was perfect for a quick get away.

This was an incredible home base for our trip up to Portland. We were up to go to an event at Thompson's Point. It had everything we needed and was a beautiful place to wake up each morning. The appliances, amenities, and accommodations were more than we needed and the cleanliness was second to none. Seriously impressed and happy we chose to stay here. It was a great place to relax and take the stress out of the weekend. Will definitely come back again for our next trip to Portland.

Wonderful log cabin! Well appointed! Out in the wilderness, but minutes away from shopping, amenities, and attractions, plenty of activities to do on site: pool table, hot tub, indoor and outdoor games, fire pit and a pond for fishing! Awesome wildlife too: ducks geese, wild turkeys, otter, groundhog, and chipmonk. A wonderful family vacation!
