as always - this place is about space, a well-stocked kitchen, HUGE bedrooms, washer and dryer and proximity to Elk Mountain. The kids have their own floor with a football table and TV. (and views of the mountain) The host is very responsive and kind. Our third year here, we will be back next year.

There were 6 adults and 2 children for the weekend in this house and more could have stayed here comfortably . This was the best Vrbo house we’ve ever stayed at. We've had some pretty bad experiences so we expected to be disappointed in something, but this one was a pleasant surprise. Clean, plenty of closet space, bedrooms are a nice size and the air conditioning worked great! Two balconys with a lovely view. Property manager Brenda was professional and polite. I would stay here again.

Disappointing. House is big enough (5 bedrooms) but not good VRBO. No rugs. 1 window covering on deck slider--no others. Bedroom furnishings have slat beds and some kind of short term clothing storage (varies by room) including wire rolling rack, stacked plastic cubes, cheap bedside table, hotel-style bag holder. Again, no rugs, chair tv, dresser etc--in any of the 5. Living room has a couch and a futon...no coffee table or rug etc. Closets in rooms lucky enough to have them are full of old sheets/bed coverings, stained towels. Beds do not have duvets, they have thin quilts so chilly in winter for sure! We were 5 people and received literally 5 towels, no hand towels, washcloths etc. No dishwasher tabs and when we checked in dishes in the dishwasher. 1 hand towel provided (black!) and dirty pot holders. Kitchen cupboards have no place for guest supplies...all full of random things even boxes of lightbulbs. No lines in trashcans when we checked in and empty boxes in mudroom/laundry. Only utensil/dishes for about 6-8 so must wash dishes every meal. No nice bowls to make a salad etc, 3 old tupperware type bowls you might use to measure ingredients. No hair dryer, toaster, drip coffee maker. Ski team families share recommendations of houses at our competition resorts across the 5 age groups for each other and I marked this one a would not stay again. The point of a VRBO is the comfort of home and this property is not comfortable or homey.

This is our second stay at the house. We love it because it is wheelchair accessible, huge and has a great view of the mountain. The only issue we have is that there is only one sofa in the living area (where the TV is located) We were there 4 nights during the playoffs for football and there was only seating for 3 people. Adding another sofa or a couple of chairs would be great. A shade on the window in the guestroom would also be great. The host was very communicative. We will be back next year!

Overall everything was very good with the exception of the front door electric lock. It took 8-10 times to get it to unlock and it never locked as per the instructions. The house could also use a few more comfortable chairs to watch TV. We had to use fold up chairs to watch a hockey game. We aslo requested a late checkout but were denied by the host. Next time that will be an upfront requirement or we will go somewhere else. KM

Everything about this house was perfect for our family getaway. 5 bedrooms, all comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. The house itself can almost be listed as handicap accessible. (Just need a roll in shower). We made it work with no difficulty. The host went out of her way to help us measure doorways and the height of the deck. Our adult son is a quadriplegic. We were able trove right up to the house, open the vehicle ramp onto the deck and he was able to enjoy the large deck, then ride right into the hose with no ramp or wedges. The open concept first floor was beautiful and the doors leading out to the first and second floors look out over the mountains (and the many acres). The upstairs (2 huge bedroom and a beautiful sitting room) with doors leading out to the lovely, large deck. Plenty of parking, the boys had a ball running through the backyard and into the woods. We didn’t have much snow but I could see them snowshoeing there. The property is very private Elk Mountains is less than 3 miles away. Kudos to the host for being communicative all throughout our stay. This is how a VRBO should be. We hope to come back every yeawitb our family.

House was equipped with all we needed. Spacious enough to fit 8 of us around the table. Bedrooms were big. Beautiful view out back and 9 deer visited us. Convenient and close to ski mountain.
