FULLY RENOVATED yet FULL of Historic Charm and Character
Old world charm fused with new world style and comfort make this historic Santa Fe casita the ideal destination for your journey to the city different. This well appointed 2 bedroom, 1 bath casita was built in the 1920's and was loved by the same family for four generations. On a native voyage to Santa Fe, we strolled up the historic Eastside just off Canyon Road and fell in love in 2017. We have kept the charm and culture of theoriginal home with a fully renovated kitchen and bath to allow for comfortable accommodations while staying true to the charm of Santa Fe. The classic adobe architecture and original hardwood floors welcome you into the open living room with a Pottery Barn leather sleeper sofa and then continue into the dinning room with seating for 6. A breakfast bar with 2 additional seats looks into the fully renovated kitchen stocked with all the comforts of home. A master bedroom with a king sized bed and a flatscreen TV offers premium furnishings and beddings to ensure your comfort. The second bedroom offers a traditional casita experience with a full sized bed and cozy spaces, no closet but hooks and a luggage rack for convenience. The bathroom contains brick flooring, original new Mexican tile work with new world plumbing fixtures. The oversized rear garden is truly the star of the show complete with a large Chiminea (Mexican clay chimney) is furnished for year round enjoyment of Santa Fe's unprecedented sky in a private oasis just off the bustling historic plaza and celebrated Garcia Street.
Parking, although a premium in this central heart of Santa Fe, is provided for 2 small cars or one large vehicle.
Although rare with adobe construction and a very desirable year round climate. Central air conditioning, new furnace and new plumbing throughout was also installed in fall of 2021 to further ensure your comfort.

A secured wifi provides (although you are likely miles away from the stresses of daily life!) the convenience of staying connected while exploring, checking out and checking in during your trip to this exceptional location in the heart of the land of enchantment. We look forward to sharing the magic of Santa Fe with you!

This is a beautiful casita in a great location. The house has a lot of charm and a well-stocked kitchen. The location is quiet but still close to downtown.

Great location, comfortable and owner very responsive but the casita was not ready when we arrived at 5pm. Stacie was able to get the maid service to clean that same evening. I would recommend.

The house is very cozy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The backyard is large and inviting to sit with a cup of tea. We went for enjoyable walks through the historic areas. Artist shops, tea houses and lovely fall weather- all a lovely place to stay and enjoy the flavor of Santa Fe!

There was a little confusion about getting into the house and about the trash but otherwise everything was perfect. We loved the house and especially the location. We'll stay there again if we can.

Great casita in great location. This was our second stay at this lovely casita. The backyard is quiet and private, the laundry is very handy to have. It has off-street parking, and is a convenient walk to Canyon Rd. There is a great coffee shop within easy walking distance also. We look forward to going back.

Stacie was an amazing host - great communication and recommendations. The casita is wonderful and welcoming - immaculately clean, extremely well designed and has every amenity you need. The backyard is perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. We walked everywhere - galleries on Canyon Road, cafés and restaurants, shops near the Plaza, and museums. Would definitely stay here again!

This restored casita is charming and private. I rented it for me and my two young adult children over Thanksgiving, and it was delightful. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit too cold to enjoy the private backyard...which was beautiful with snow one morning. For art lovers, it was really close to Canyon Road galleries. Stacie the owner was super-communicative before, during, and after our stay. This one is a keeper for repeat visits!

What a beautiful place! Inside and out, just perfect. Peaceful, clean, with everything a person would need for several days of glorious Santa Fe to be perfect! After at least 30 trips to New Mexico over the years, this lovely place will remain vivid in our memories. Thank you for sharing your space with me and my children. It is truly a treasure.

This Eastside Casita was the perfect base for a fun 4 days in Santa Fe. It’s a short walk to the art galleries on Canyon Road and provides easy access to the Plaza. We very much enjoyed our stay there!

The only thing wrong was the heat. It was very hot and they need to have overhead fans in bedrooms and living room.

We stayed at Stacie's casita for several days to celebrate a 70th b-day and attend the Santa Fe opera. It's a sweet place in a quiet neighborhood, around the corner from a wonderfully-curated bookstore, easy walking distance to many places, with a lovely garden for hanging out and being entertained by the Towhees hopping about. Stacie is very responsive to any and all questions and has done a beautiful job working with limited space to provide everything a person might need or want. This is a banner year for apricots so that too was fun about the location, as there are many trees hanging over the fences providing free food for all.

This east-side casita has a lot of personality and the back yard is very, very beautiful. The second bedroom is a bit short on space and has no closet, which means you have to use the closet in the master bedroom (just so you are aware). But there are many positive things that offset this. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. The location is quite good. With that said, some people may find they need to drive to the plaza, but some will be able to walk it. Canyon Road is quite close to the casita. In general, many residential areas in Santa Fe can be challenging to walk in because many streets do not have sidewalks, but as long as you do not have mobility issues, it is a pleasant place to walk around in. You do need to be careful however. The cars speed by, probably faster than they should. The furnishings of the house are lovely and very Santa Fe. Parking was no problem for my Subaru. You do need to wheel the garbage bins across the street once a week. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would return there.
