Callao Salvaje, Canary Islands
Vast T2 65 m ² entirely renovated - new, in 1st line waterfront. 1 room.
Large south facing terrace with sea & beach views at 20m and beautiful communal pool side entrance. Fully equipped American kitchen. Shower room with walk-in shower. TV, wi-fi-internet. 2nd and last floor of the residence AguaViva very quiet. All shops at 50 / 100m. Direct access to the pool area reserved for the occupants of the residence whose access is closed to the public.
CallaoSalvaje "(small wild pebble") is a typical quiet Spanish village, of average size (2 main shopping streets) outside but nevertheless close to the great tourist flow of the island and its attractions (Las americas-El Duque to 15 'in car or bus). You will find all the amenities: 4 supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacy, bank, bars & restaurants, doctors etc ...
We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, especially the large terrace with its ocean view. Furthermore, the location is ideal with beach, all the restaurants and a little supermarket around. We will definitely come again.
Great apartment with a wonderful view The bedroom is quite small as the bed The kitchen is fully equipped Pool area very nice Near to beach, smaller shops and restaurants
We had a lovely time in Callao Salvaje at Alexandre's flat. It was clean, modern, quiet and as we expected from the listing. Perfect for a couple's holiday. The location was fantastic. It was right in the middle of things but not noisy at all and we had the best view of the beach. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and listening to the waves crashing on the shore. We needed a really relaxing break and that's what we got. Alexandre was very communicative and helpful and Fabienne was so friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it (just leave a week or two free for us so we can return)!
A really very nice flat with a spectacular view on the sea. The flat was perfect: all you needed was there: dish washer, microwave, pruducts as well, electric curtain for the terrace, a/c (never used, it was enough to keep windows opened!). A nice terrace you can use for breakfast, dinner or aperitif. My only suggestion is with regards to the bedroom: if the bed had been bigger it would have been perfect. Fabienne and Alex were always available to help us and give advice. We spent 3 perfect weeks.
We had an amazing week in this apartment with great weather. The apartment is a perfect size for 2 people and has a large balcony over looking the sea. The beach, restaurants and supermarket are less than 5 minutes away. We also hired a car and managed to park nearby for the whole stay. Callao Salvaje was the perfect area for us as not as touristy as other areas we visited. We will definitely be back!
Everything works perfect and Fabienne was helpfull at arrival and departure. The Terrasse is awesome and the bed is good. Kitchen weel equipped. Lovely place..
Fantastic location, 2 minute walk from beach, restaurants and amenities. Extensive view of beach and mountains from terrace. Tidy complex with good size pool, surrounded by sun beds. Apartment clean and tidy. Large terrace. Down side sun disappears from terrace about 3.30. Bedroom small and we found the bed not very comfortable.
Nice clean apartment and balcony The only thing I would have liked would have been better quality bed linen
Lovely property located in an area that has plenty to offer but without the excessive tourism of other parts of the island. The property is in a fantastic situation, overlooking the beach and there is nothing more magical than sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine at night, listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. You do have to climb stairs to get to the apartment, so not advisable for those with limited mobility and the bed was cosy. But we loved our stay here and our hosts were great.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Callao Adeje apartment. The pool was amazing and a few steps away. You must be quick though since people reserve the sunbeds with their towels! A nearby black pebble beach was amazing as well. Much better than sand, since sand gets everywhere. We went twice. Very relaxing to sit near/under one of the umbrellas. Nearby restaurants were nice. We went to Restaurante El Ancia (amazing seafood), the Italian corner (nice pizza/pasta), The Terrace and Nebula Restaurant (ate 2 days in a row amazing selection of food, I had the fillet steak amazing!). You must be quick since most restaurants close the kitchen around 9pm, and some you have to pre-book since they get busy. We went to the rooftop bar at Mynd hotel. You can walk in and take the lift to the top floor. Very nice views. Rooftop pool can be used, and there is a grass area which was very nice. We hired a car for a week so drive to the bigger Hyper Dino supermarket, and fa few other markets nearby (Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, they were ok). Also drove up to Los Gigantes. We went to El Duque beach, where we ate at Luuma restaurant, very nice sandwiches. And one morning were taken out on a boat trip (booked through Maxim Excursions) and say some pilot whales which was quite cool. No Dolphins though. We also visited the SIAM shopping mall for some rebajas. A couple of downsides to the apartment: There was no AC in the bedroom. It was very hot at night whilst trying to sleep. So unfortunately, we didnāt sleep well. There was an AC in the main living room which was quite effective. We didnāt turn it on through the night since I was told I would be charged for over-using electricity, which was not made clear to me at the time of booking. So avoided using it whilst sleeping. Secondly, after using the washing machine, there seemed to be an influx of cockroaches from the sink. Since my partner is terrified of them, this caused some stress in the evenings in the last few days of the trip. We made sure to mention to Fabienne, who was really helpful throughout the trip answering on WhatsApp. That said, definitely worth a visit and hire a car to visit the neighbouring beaches/areas.
