The Precious Past rental is on the lower floor of a barn that is situated at the end of a private road underneath several 250 year old live oak trees. The room is equipped with a queen bed, shower, kitchenette corner (which includes small fridge, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and plates & utensils. There is also a small couch and recliner in the living corner that has DirecTV. Outside the property on the 4 acres, is a private pond for fishing and an outdoor kitchen for grilling

Stayed Apr 14, 2023The VRBO listing/photos are 100% accurate. At the end of a dead end road. Huge live oaks shade the property which is exceptionally well maintained. Cannot hear the highway traffic while inside or outside. The pond is beautiful and offers decent fishing as well as the perfect place to just sit and appreciate life. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped. Eric is an exceptional host.

Stayed Nov 22, 2022As described except for the breakfast part of bed and breakfast. No breakfast items except for a packet of instant oatmeal. The owner was great, however, and recommended a great place for dinner, The Little Big Cup.

Stayed Jul 20, 2022If you are looking for a place to unwind, this is the place. My husband and I had the most relaxing time. Beautiful old oak trees, a pond to fish, outdoor grilling, and the owners are super nice. We are looking forward to going back.

Stayed Mar 10, 2022The Owner Eric was very knowledgeable about the area. The community is very friendly. The Fruit stand had the best burgers in the area. We also suggest Glenda’s Kitchen, she is only open 10am to 2pm.
