Stayed Apr 5, 2025This is a great spot for a couple's getaway. One bedroom, king bed; spacious kitchen & den; nice bathroom; peaceful patio overlooking a small pond. Nice location just off Bridge Street. Spotlessly clean & well equipped (no dishwasher, but you don't visit Breaux Bridge to cook your own meals). Will definitely stay here the next time we visit Cajun country.

Stayed Aug 30, 2025A Little Slice of Heaven It was a wonderful experience! It truly felt like a little slice of heaven! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a clean and inviting space that made us feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We even added a day to our stay and the host was most accommodating.The whole experience, from booking to check-out, was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. We genuinely didn't want to leave and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

Stayed Jun 16, 2025We throughly enjoyed our time at Bayou Getaway. The pond has very friendly turtles. We fed them daily from the fish food that was in the home. You get enough privacy to be away from the hustle and bustle of being in town, but are close enough to be in Lafayette in no time. We will definitely be coming back to this little bit of peace and quiet.
