Pools, Private Hot Tub & Pool Table. Upscale Lodge

This home had a Christmas tree to welcome us for the start of our family holiday! There was an amazing bunk room that allowed our young grandkids to play with plenty of room. They also loved the pool table and ping pong table. This house had it all!Communication was so easy it made it all a great experience.

Easy place to stay in a central location. Comfortable enough for multiple families. Owner is responsive. Had a great week.

My extended family stayed at the house, and we loved it. It has a wonderful, large living area, deck and kitchen. We loved having a pool table, ping pong and a kids bunk room. Plus, its location near Glaze Meadow pool is hard to beat!

Having come to black butte ranch for 15 years, our group agreed this was the best house by far.Spacious, super clean, well stocked, and in a perfect location.This house has everything!

We had the best time staying here for our wedding in Black Butte. The house is in a great central location and perfect for groups and entertaining.

Our family of ten ranging in age from 9 to 79 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smiling River Lodge. The home is very spacious and well appointed. We found everything we needed for cooking. Games and puzzles were readily available and the pool table, ping pong table and foosball table made for great family entertainment. The owner, Freddie, was very helpful and easy to contact. We will come back again!

Beautiful home! Perfect place to spend Christmas with our family. No need to ever leave. This house has everything you would ever want.

Several lights didn't seem to work. The A/C controller was difficult to use.

This is an incredible house for a family reunion or big group. Tons of living space, plenty of beds and bathrooms with showers, and such great amenities. We loved the pool table, hot tub, and game tables upstairs. The kids learned to play poker on the super cool poker table, and we enjoyed a couple of the games from the game shelf. The kitchen and outdoor seating on the deck made for a great location to host dinner. Freddie was super responsive to our few requests. Looking forward to our next visit there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Black Butte! The location of the house is wonderful, and a great size for our large family. Outdoor space was amazing as well as proximity to Glaze Meadow Rec. The house would benefit from a little more TLC in certain areas. We had babies crawling on the floor so carpets could benefit from deep cleaning. The indoor dining room table was huge, but had a couple chairs in need of repair. We ended up using the outdoor table due to wonderful weather, so that wasn’t really a problem for us. The owner is super responsive which is great. Lots of towels for the pool, and bikes to use around the Ranch. For a large family gathering we would definitely stay there again.

Truly enjoyed my stay at Smiling River Lodge. Plenty of room to move around, billiards room, large dining room table, and massive outside deck. Freddie (host) was extremely easy to work with and accommodated our early check in request with no hesitation. Would absolutely recommend this home to others looking for a great place to bring a large group together in Black Butte Ranch.

This house is perfect for large family or a group. We loved it. Would highly recommend.
