Sleeping 8 comfortably, 3 bedrooms, 2 Queen Bedrooms each with private baths, a bunk room (2 bunks,twin/twin) and 3rd full bath. Clamshell Cottage is spacious. If you are looking for one of the most beautiful spaces in Port Aransas for your summer vacation, spring retreat, fall getaway, or winter escape, Clamshell Cottage should be at the top of your list! This unique space offers stunning interior design and perfectly chosen finishes. It is comfortably furnished with everything you and your guests will want in your Port Aransas Beach House!

There are 2 designated parking spaces in front of Clamshell Cottage. Boat parking is not allowed. Easy entry for bringing in your luggage, just a few feet from your parking space. Enter the gorgeous covered patio with warm and welcoming outdoor living and dining, adorned with just the right party lighting. The outdoor shower is right there, making it easy to rinse off the sand from a day at the beach! Have some beach gear or coolers you brought along Through a side gate, there's a fenced-in area where you can store your outdoor gear out of site.

Walking into Clamshell Cottage, be prepared for the wow factor. White shiplap, beautiful, comfortable furniture, a large TV, and a fantastic kitchen! The kitchen is well-stocked for those who love to prep, cook, serve, and dine! Not only is this kitchen area very functional, beauty was still high on the list with stunning finishes. Enjoy bar seating or dining seating.

The bedroom and bathroom spaces are well laid out, with 3 bedrooms: a Queen Bedroom with a private bathroom, a walk-in shower (no tub), and entry to the patio. The second queen Bedroom has a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third bunk room features 2 bunk beds, both are twin over twin. The 3rd full bathroom is in the hallway with a walk-in shower. All bedrooms offer TVs for guest use.

The washer & dryer are in the hallway and available for guest use. A large pantry is also in the hallway, so you can tuck away all the fabulous beach snacks you brought! The microwave is in the large walk-in pantry.

There are 2 large pools in the Pirate's Bay subdivision, where Clamshell Cottage is located. One pool is just steps away from your patio and has a community propane grill (when available). The other is right across the parking lot. This 2nd one has a playscape. Community charcoal grills are located at this pool.

Enjoy incredible sunset views from a few select spots in the pool area. You'll be about 8 blocks to the beach, and it's about a 5-minute drive to the beach. Easy access to shopping, dining, and entertaining as well!

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

    The house is spacious and modern, clean and well stocked. The outdoor living space is where we spent most of our time at The house and is great for relaxing in the evenings and for having our mornign coffee. Willl stay there again.

    1. The Green Egg BBQ pit was in poor shape. 2. I repaired the entrance gate latch. 3. No oven mitts or pads. Purchased one and left it for you. 4. Never was able to get the sound bar to work at the living room television. We will likely come back to stay again.

    The furniture either needs a deep clean or to be replaced. I had to cover the couch, ottoman and kitchen table bench seat with beach towels for my kids to sit on it. There were stains everywhere. The outdoor patio looks as if it is never cleaned or swept. Good location though and the pools were convenient and nice.

    We trully enjoyed are port A vacation and stay. The space felt cozy and perfect for us. Management was very responsive when we mistakenly and unknowingly tripped an outlet in middle of UT game...lol Thank you again!
