Perfect location, perfect house, lots of fun!!

We all loved the pool! Location was great as well

I discussed with the hosts, they are addressing. The pictures presented in the listing are not representative of the condition of the pool area. The vegetation is overgrown, as a consequence they have a snake issue. My wife is deathly afraid of snakes so we were not able to enjoy the pool. The post claims to have Bluetooth speaker s but all the wires were chewed. The wood is all rotted in the screen room with holes to the outside. Basically the place needs some TLC.

This was a really nice place for a family gathering for a special occasion. 6 of us stayed there for 1 week. The home was immaculately clean and spacious. Master bedroom very large and comfortable with TV. We had quite a few elderly and disabled family members visiting so my only concern was the uneven and worn deck and stairs in backyard around the pool. However the saltwater pool was well maintained and a wonderful way to cool off and relax after a day of sightseeing. The home was within walking distance to the Alligator Farm and several restaurants and only 2 miles to beach or town. I would definitely stay here again!

The hosts are wonderful! They communicated quickly with us and always returned our texts in a timely manner. They are super helpful and wanted to make sure our stay went well.

There were a couple missing light bulbs that needed to be changed. Never did figure out how to turn the light on in the dining room. We also could not figure out how to get the TV’s working in both bedrooms.

The host contacted us before we arrived to ensure what we need to know about the guidelines and accessibility of the site. We took advantage of discounted tickets for my son and his family to enjoy the Alligator Farm which was impressive. Location was excellent walking distance from the lighthouse and other attractions. The back yard pool was used, a little cold for me but my granddaughter took advantage of it. The grill was handy for a steak dinner. Most of the kitchen necessities were available.I was a little disappointed that the guest bed was a little small and be aware that if your winding down and watching tv in the living room, the floors have trapped dirt which caused our white socks to be not so white. I would recommend coming back.

We spend Thanksgiving weekend 2025 (5 nights ) -The hosts very responsive and communicative, above and beyond , - tiki nest ( house ) , extremely clean, spacious, very comfortable, felt like my own place , Pool perfect size , a lot of space , to dine have fun , very secluded, trees and plants making the vibe LOCATION!!!!! Whoever have been in St. Augustine before knows how many people are there, like 5th ave NYC , so driving through the city doesn’t make sense , we parked just before de Leon bridge on the street and just walk over , 7 min walk , saving a lot of time and money Amazing aligator farm just next door must see with zip lining and other activities You far enough from all the noise and tourists but close enough to enjoy it as well,Great place (tiki nest ) and amazing city ( St. Augustine)

Some of the outdoor furniture needs replacing or repairing, there appears to be mold around the skylights and around some of the vents.

We’ve stayed at Tiki Nest for two years. The house is very clean. Love the pool (and the couple who cleaned the pool!). Very convenient location.

Our family loved our time at this house! Our favorite was the backyard and pool! The vegetation was lush and made you feel like you were on a tropical island! Very relaxing! The house was very clean and inviting! Very close to beaches and all attractions. Would 100% stay here again!

The entire experience was seem less. My family was very relaxed at the beautiful home and really enjoyed the layout and location.

This was a great house for my husband and me, our 4 kids, and my parents. It was very spacious and we had plenty of room. The pool was awesome and kept kids entertained when we weren’t out doing things. Loved it!

Fantastic home with screened in porch and pool in backyard. Close to downtown. Only negative comments I have are dingy door moldings and floors, but it’s the beach. Clean bathrooms, sheets and towels, and nice kitchen. I would definitely rent this property again. Really enjoyed the screened porch and back pool area.

Very nice home, a few disappointments. Out door furniture very dated & worn. Sheets on king were clean but stained. Primary had very thin window covering that made you visible to back yard! Didn’t feel the sliding doors were secure & needed dead bolts!

Con: We felt the beds were uncomfortable the house needed updating. The backyard trees need trimming way to overgrown which makes a mess in the pool everyday. We cleaned up the area around the pool everyday.Beach umbrella and good chairs would be nice as well as pool floats.Pro: the neighborhood is very quiet and nice it is very convenient to downtown and many restaurants around it. A/c works great and was nice and cold. Good communication we were able to get pool cleaned when we needed it.

It was great. Except bottom of pool was dirty and had nothing to clean it with. Was able to clean debris floating on top. So needless to say, the girls wouldn’t swim in the pool because of it. As a general contract for 30 years, I noticed things. Upkeep needed just a little help Screen porch siding rotting out. Light bulbs needed in place. Etc. also needed more towels. 4 towels were just not enough for two teenage girls and their father. Besides those three things, the location was fantastic. The house was super nice and everything needed to cook with was there. Would stay there again

This vacation property was just as advertised. The back yard we just wonderful and a tropical oasis. The 3 dogs greatly enjoyed chasing a squirrel and a couple little kizards and wevenjoyed letting them wander in the fully fenced back yard. The pool was too cold to get in much more than knee level as St. Augustine was experiencing an unusually very cold winter. The beds and rooms were comfortable, kitchen appliances were all fairly new as were the pots and whewhen we were missung pans.

We LOVED our week at the Tiki Nest! The fully fenced-in backyard is lush and private with mature trees and plants; perfect for nature-lovers AND our two labs. We usually stay at an oceanfront condo, but this was even better for the peaceful poolside setting.

House was in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to the beach and historic St. Augustine. The host always got back to us quickly when there was an issue or question. The free passes to attractions were definitely helpful. The backyard is very tropical. It was cold when we were there so we didn’t get to use the pool. My only criticism would be what others have said such as patches on the walls and ceiling that should be painted and the outside furniture should be relaxed soon.

Perfect location. Close to everything including the alligator zoo. I had never heard of it but was happy that I visited it. The house was clean and well decorated. Would suggest a few more plates, glasses & mixing bowls.

Nice 3BR 2BA house in a quiet neighborhood about a mile from downtown St. Augustine. We enjoyed being walking distance to restaurants away from the downtown area. Our trip was between Christmas and New Years and the town was overcrowded.

Short walk to lighthouse and alligator farm. Home was clean, lots of patches on walls and could use a fresh coat of paint, and lacking/sparse in items such as blankets, drinkware (set of 6 glasses and 2 odd ones, NO wine glasses?), no pot holders or baking sheet (the small pan was in awful shape and we had to cover with foil). Kitchen faucet handle falls off. We don't know how this was listed as sleeps 9 as there would not be enough glasses, blankets, towels, or Seating! Two small couches in the living room and four dining chairs and a bench. We told the owner about a serious looking mold problem on the living room ceiling and several of the vents (this needs to be corrected asap, as does the annoying flickering light in the dining room). The master bedroom has inadequate window covering on the sliding door leaving no privacy if anyone is on the back porch or using the pool; The master shower has not one place to put your soap or razor or washcloth, other than on the floor (there is a wall dispenser for shower gel and shampoo) Neighborhood felt safe, dog friendly. Fully fenced yard (but make sure the gate is latched!)

The neighborhood felt safe and was very close to downtown. We loved the layout of the house and beautiful pool. The beds were comfortable. The owners were accommodating and very communicative. I’d stay here again!

The house is spacious and comfortable. We found everything we needed during our stay. One of our guests uses a walker and it was easy for him to navigate around. Because the walk-in shower has no grab bars, I would suggest adding a folding, plastic chair for someone at risk of falling.
