Pool, 6 beaches, Tortuga Island, Curu, & bioluminescence.

The property is very nice, it has big rooms, baths and nice social areas. The upstairs area had a nice space to work, but it doesn't have A/C and the temperatures can be very high. The soroundings are very quiet and it seemed safe. We had problems finding the property because there isn't a sign on the road. The instructions in the reservation did not worked, so I had to go to the main road to find cellphone signal in order to call the owner and then received the correct instructions to get in. On the way out, even when the checkout it's at 11am, the cleaning lady knocked on the door at 8am and started to clean, so we had to leave earlier. I think communication with the person in charge is the main problem, when I talked to the owner she helped me and solved my problem.

Kitchen is adequate for basic cooking, when using the oven you'll have to light w/a lighter. The pool is great after a long, hot day, it's not for swimming but very cooling!This is our 2nd stay at this property, we're looking at booking for 2027.

Home had everything you could need for your Costa Rican getaway, from storage containers to spices to play tools for the beach, beds were the most comfortable I’ve had in Costa Rica by far. Neighbour was super friendly and had amazing ideas and options for play. Plenty of areas to shop and lots of wild life near by, white faced and spider monkeys , macaws, ant eaters, blue morphis butterflies all within a short drive. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend

What a great location for our stay in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula! Easy drive to everywhere you need to get to. This home was built with much love and alot of hard work!! So many little bonuses that made our stay so great: beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, lunch containers, well-stocked kitchen (including spices and condiments), washer, outdoor hose, star fruit tree …. And of course, the POOL! Was the perfect way to cool off after our day of adventure! Rhonda was a gem of a host! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a true “home” base. Oh and we absolutely LOVED the bed! So comfortable! Thanks again Rhonda for sharing your home with us! We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the home. Roomy. The beds were VERY comfortable. Was glad there were portable beach chairs, an ice chest, and towels and floats. There was even a phone protector. Very well thought out home. The outdoor living area was VERY comfortable and we had some nice naps out there. We also enjoyed the fresh fruit right there in the yard

Rhonda, the host, has tastefully created a very beautiful home in a Costa Rican village. Her pool is exactly the same size and depth that is used for me by my physical therapist. One cannot swim in it, but it is perfect for my six foot body for exercises and walks. If you have any problems or questions, Rhonda and her employee are electronically present to address them as much as they can.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home was spacious and was well equipped and close to the town of Paquera where we could get groceries and a meal if we wanted. The neighbourhood is quiet and the property is secure and you feel like you are living in the forest. The heat pumps in the bedrooms are very appreciated. The pool is refreshing. We would definitely stay here again.

It was convenient for the bioluminescent tour and the ferry. However, need to be aware that the upstairs loft room with the bunkbed has NO AC. This is big since we went in their rainy season but it was still hot and muggy in the mid 80's in June. So we didn't use that room and every one camped out downstairs. There's no living room inside it is outside. It was too hot and rainy to use. It is best to arrive during daylight otherwise you will have a hard time locating the gate and property. We couldn't find it on the first try, but eventually found it after a couple of tries. We didn't cook and went out to eat so I didn't try to figure out how to use the stove. The fridge was not working so it was a bit inconvenient. All in all I would probably stay elsewhere next time. There was no availability in the hotel we were looking at.

This is an outstanding property, I'm glad to say it exceeded my expectations. Paquera CR isn't the tourist mecca, IE an all inclusive. If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. We loved CURU and the wildlife refuge, great hiking trails, great beach..

Our stay was great. The home is very clean and close to town, beaches, activities. Host communication was top notch - she was very responsive. We appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, floaters, and boogie boards - made our beach day so comfortable! Beds extremely comfortable. Would stay again.

Great location, the pool was awesome,we liked the air conditioning and beach supplies left for our use.Really liked the octopus mural!

We loved the location for birds and privacy. There is another home on the property, but thankfully no one stayed there. It was a challenge to get to the beaches as the roads we bad....We had lots of shade and the plunge pool was refreshing

Gorgeous house, my kids loved it very much, lots to do in the area, Rhonda had everything highlighted on a book, of what her favourite places to see were. I would stay here again, and Rhonda was a great host. The house was slightly difficult to find, we showed up super late and my service wasn’t working on my phone…. But we made it in the end.

Was a perfect place to stay and relaxing some days of vacations.

This place is well-equipped and is in a good location; just a short drive from some good tourist activities and nice places to eat. Rhonda is nice and a good communicator!
