Ponderosa Cabin- Private Hot Tub, Close to Beach & Casino's- ID# ZK750

Carpets stained. Heater air made us all feel like we were getting sick. Debris left under beds. Bedding worn and ragged. Heater vent on stair cut my daughter’s heel.

The beds and the bathrooms were wonderful!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed a place for 10 people, including 4 young kids,which included space for the kids to hang out separately from adults. This house met that criteria, and was within walking distance to the beach. Pros: Accessing house was easy using codes provided by the management company.The bathrooms were remodeled and were very nice, and all bedding was fresh and clean. Bunk beds were a nice tough and kids loved them. There was plenty of beds/space for everyone. No A/C, but most bedrooms had fans. There were nice TVs on both levels. Cons: The carpets were stained and no one wanted to walk barefoot. The kitchen is outdated and the walls and cupboards are not very clean (but were well stocked with supplies). The stairs to the lower level were filthy, and were very, very steep. Older folks struggled to use them, but there was outside access via the deck, which helped. The hot tub was a nice perk, but water was very murky with a strong chlorine smell. Very few wanted to use it. The living room furniture was rustic looking, but was hard to get in and out of due to sagging cushions and being somewhat low to the ground. Finally the decks could use a refresh as they were pretty rough on the feet. Overall it was a convenient place, and was large enough for our group, but not sure we would stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: This cabin is a great size to comfortably accommodate 10 people. Bathrooms were nicely updated. Beds,Major appliances and linens were in good shape. However the carpeting was horribly stained through-out the home, the couches fabric was wearing off and torn, and ceiling fans were coated in dust. There was no propane for the grill and it took 3 days with 3 calls to get it refilled, which was unfortunate.

We stood here in June, no A/C, but manageable with fans. Hot tub on timer as well. We had a good time, I rented this location twice, big thing is being respectful to the residents of the neighborhood. No complaints! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ponderosa. Nice sized rooms, updated bathrooms and a large living area was perfect.

The pictures make it look bright, clean and airy. It is dark, dingy and musty. The carpets need to be burned - they are so filthy. We wouldn't even walk barefoot in the house. The entire kitchen is sticky and disgusting, especially the cabinets. The kitchen needs to be gutted. There is a rickety spiral staircase that leads downstairs that is not on any website photos and is NOT conducive to small kids, the elderly, or luggage! I had to buy Glade plug-ins to rid the musty smell of the place. The living room furniture is very worn and dirty. The hot tub is old and stained and the water is dirty. The windows and mirrors and child handprints all over them when we arrived and there was blood on the hallway wall. The cleaners did a terrible job. I called to complain about the cleanliness. The saving grace is that the bathrooms have been remodeled, and the property location. This house needs a revamp or a price reduction, and photos that actual look like what you're actually getting. NOT HAPPY.

A nice well equipped kitchen - we cooked our own food. Nice comfy beds and privacy in each room. Gate on the spiral staircase was helpful. The kids thought it was great! Deck and spa safe & secure!

Great location to Heavenly. House was very well stocked for the kitchen and cooking. Ample supply of toilet paper and paper towel. Easy to locate and plenty of room. Highly recommend
