Pond View The ideal property to Relax and Recharge

We enjoyed our stay here at Pond View. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors. The house itself could use some updates, but it still had pretty much everything we needed and didn't keep us from enjoying our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and check-in was easy. Gary was very responsive and willing to help. We wish we could have fished in the pond out front, but still enjoyed the beauty of it and being able to walk the loop around it. The mountain views were wonderful, too. The walk-in shower was great for my older parents. The big, open dining room/living area was nice as well. We also enjoyed the deck for relaxing and eating. And loved that it was pet friendly. It's hard to find nice places that allow pets sometimes. The only thing that we could have used was an ironing board/iron. Also, the shower downstairs is missing a handle for the wand, so we weren't able to use that. Other than that, we really enjoyed the stay and would come back again.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The house is very comfortable and clean. It’s well stocked throughout and kitchen has everything. All beds were comfortable. Views from the porch are wonderful and the location is extremely convenient to many hiking trails and Mt. Mitchell. We would definitely like to stay here again.

The house is older but is clean and in a good neighborhood. Beds and bathrooms were perfect. That's my one complaint with some VRBOs but beds were comfortable and all three bathrooms worked for 6'+ males. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a quiet comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Private home set back by a pond with a creek running through the front yard, that our dog loved. The house is open with a nice flow throughout the one floor. The back door leads to a back yard run for our older dog, so she did not have to use the stairs. Perfect place for our vacation.

The house was very beautiful, spacious, and clean. The surroundings and view from the balcony were very pretty. This Mount Mitchell area was a wonderful experience for a family vacation.

Our stay was wonderful. Place was just as described. We did not need to contact the owner everything was in the book. This is a great place to do a lot of moderate to difficult hikes and golf was hands down awesome...what a view. Neighborhood is so peaceful, and house is spacious. Maxx our Aussie Border Collie loved it too. We will be back.

Beautiful view of the pond and surrounding area is visible from the yard and deck. Lots of fall color from the trees made it even more special!
