This cabin has been remodeled and restored. It now sleeps six and has one and a half bathrooms. It also has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, living room, and great views. The property is centrally located in Paradise Valley.

We have lived here our entire lives. Our family came to the area in 1873. We are one mile from a natural hot springs with swimming available. You can hear, Emigrant Creek running by the cabin, no highway noise.

Swimming, horseback riding, day spa, rafting, Five star restaurant all with in a mile of the cabin. Unlimited hiking, beautiful views, fresh mountain air and a waterfalls 2 miles up the creek from the cabin. And much more.

As much or as little as they would like.

We are away from the highway noise yet easily accessed. This is a quiet area and we live a simple life. It is easy to spend all of your time in Yellowstone Park. We have had many guests say that they wished they would have spent more time exploring Emigrant Creek.

The house was nice. The gps estimate from Yellowstone National park was inaccurate, because the posted speed limit was higher than you could actually reasonably drive. I think it was worth the drive though. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

Cozy, historic and comfortable stay. We spent a week here and I already miss it. Bryan was a great host. The floor plan was perfect for our needs. It is a few miles of dirt road so if you are a city person you might not be prepared for that. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at the cabin. Everything we needed was provided and the location near Chico was beautiful. We especially loved the quiet walk up the road to the waterfall. The sound of the creek was great at night as well.

Absolutely gorgeous, modern but historic cabin tucked away in a location near many attractions. Everything was clean & well appointed. We enjoyed sitting on the little backyard bridge just listening to the stream rapids running beneath. Very relaxing! I hope to be back!

This is a lovely cabin out in the countryside of Paradise Valley Montana. There are a few miles of gravel on winding foothills roads to reach the cabin, but this was not a problem for our van. There are several other cabins in the area, but we didn't not feel at all crowded. Other than a couple vehicles passing by each day, we hardly saw other people near the cabin. The view was beautiful around the cabin and it was a nice easy hike up the road to check out more of the river past the cabin.Inside the cabin was a spacious open kitchen/dining/living room. I loved the counter space and the bar seats. My only regret was not having more time to cook! There were several items in the kitchen to cook with making it very easy to prepare the breakfasts I was able to make. The master bedroom was also spacious and had its own 1/2 bath. And upstairs was a large room with 2 queen beds for my kids to comfortably share. The main bathroom shower is amazing! Large, walk-in, tiled shower with a high shower head. Great for my 5'11 son to shower without ducking. And having a washer and dryer in the property is greatly appreciated. The cabin was well maintained with current amenities and a rustic feel.Overall it was a great place to stay, that exceeded our needs and was very comfortable.

The place was fine, but too far of a drive from Yellowstone.

The remoteness of this house was what we were looking for. You could hear the creek which ran next to the house even with the widows closed. The log interior was a nice piece of history along with the papers found during the renovation. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Montana is truly a magnificent state to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed Bryan’s cabin and only had to hop in the car for minutes to fish the Yellowstone River, grab a coffee at Chico Hot Springs or get some BBQ in Emigrant. It’s also very close to the north entrance of Yellowstone. We cannot wait to return one day…thanks Bryan for a fantastic stay!

We loved staying at the Placer cabin. Rich in history and beauty, and convenient to everything Paradise Valley has to offer. While we enjoyed exploring, we found ourselves eager to get back to the cabin to enjoy the front porch and take in the views. Bryan is a wonderful host. We will definitely return!

This was our second stay at the home. We fell in love with it the first time and enjoyed coming back. Soothing, relaxing, peaceful, quiet, and functional. Well stocked. Love the exposed logs. Updates are great. Powerful shower, nice to have 2 bathrooms. Brian is sooooo responsive. He answers questions immediately and stopped by when we had trouble with WIFI. Use the instructions in the home, not on VRBO. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I spent a long weekend at the cabin. It is very peaceful and quiet. The creek that runs behind the property adds to the property's country feel. We will definitely try to plan another long weekend at Placer Cabin. I had an issue with my car and Brian had someone there within 20 minutes to help me. Thank you, Brian!

The property was perfect for our family. The boys loved that they had their own space and separate beds upstairs. It was great to have a full kitchen to do evening meals at home and breakfast in the morning. Kitchen stocked with essentials. The location was great, beautiful mountain views. Took a nice walk up the road and it is so serene and peaceful. It was conveniently located 45 min from Yellowstone park. Hope we can visit again.

We stayed 6 nights in the Placer Canin. It was a perfect location. A short ride to Gardiner/Yellowstone or up to Bozeman area. Chico Hot Springs is a must do for the springs or dinner. We really had a wonderful time and reconnect as a family. By far our favorite family vacation. We went to a Rodeo in Jackson Hole, Whitewater Rafting on the Yellowstone River and Horseback Riding in Gardiner. The Cabin had everything we needed and is fully equipped for cooking meals. it has a Large bathroom shower. The second half bath came in handy having 5 people in the house. Our children had the second floor while we had the first floor bedroom. It worked out perfectly. We can not wait to come back for another visit.

My family of 6 enjoyed their stay tremendously! Everything was perfect to say the least.. Such a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean, spacious & beautiful! The cabinets had plenty of dishes, cookware, silverware etc. (plus a bbq grill outside) They loved the creek running behind the house. Most nights were spent with the windows raised to hear the relaxing rushing water to go to sleep too. It was the perfect location.. The Hot springs at Chico is just down the road for family entertainment in the pool, food, or weekend night bands in the saloon for the adults. The landscape was beautiful of blooming flowers, and a big yard that my grandson's were playing catch ball in. The big front porch was a gathering place during the evenings with tables, chairs & rocking chairs. I highly recommend staying here! All you need is your clothes, (there is a washer and dryer by the way) snacks, & food for the fridge if you'd like. The local general store is just down the road for necessities that you may need, along with several other eateries & Yellowstone Park is just approximately 30 miles away. Thank you again host Brian.. everything was perfect!
