Summary:

This is a king bed room with its own deck, opening onto the garden at The Inn at Mazama. These rooms also have a queen size fold-out couch, propane cast-iron stove, and a small table. The room is equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The Inn At Mazama is located right on the trails in Mazama allowing cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking from the door. Inn facilities include wifi, a pool, hot tub and clubhouse with lounge, yoga studio, offices and co-working space.

The Space:

This is a generously sized room at The Inn At Mazama, furnished with a king bed and queen size fold-out couch. The sliding doors open out onto a covered deck and the Inn’s garden. This is one of two similar sized units. One of which is our ADA compliant room with an extra large shower, folding seat and support rails; the other has a jetted tub. The Pine rooms are located in a four-plex annex building connected to the main lodge by a covered walkway. These are pet-friendly rooms conveniently with their own direct garden access, ideal for bringing your well-behaved dog.

The Neighborhood:

MAZAMA

We are located right in the heart of Mazama very close to the Mazama Store and the Methow Trails trailhead (for great hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails). In addition to the store with its great bakery and grocery, Mazama is home to the Goat’s Beard outdoor store (with mountain bike and fat bike rentals) and the Mazama Ski School for cross country ski hire and lessons. The Mazama Public House is set to open summer 2022. Please see our website for our seasonal activity guides with trail suggestions and more visitor info

NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK

We are conveniently situated for easy access to the North Cascades and the trailheads to many of the Park's world-class hiking trails. It’s a 20 minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass and 30 minutes to Maple Pass trailhead. Great for beating the crowds and snagging a trailhead parking spot at peak seasons.

Getting Around:

Getting here: May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Blewett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.

Getting Around: Our location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley.

Other Things to Note:

ADA ROOM

You are booking one of two similar sized units, one of which is our ADA room. The ADA room has a larger bathroom and slightly less space in the couch area (requiring us to move the coffee table if you need the fold-out). Rooms are automatically assigned at booking: please let us know if you have a preference for one or other of these units and we will be happy to reassign your room if the other is available.

PETS

Well behaved dogs are welcome. We charge a pet fee of $50 per dog per stay. We'll get in touch with you before your stay to confirm the number and type of dogs, and will request the pet fees at that time.

DINING

Please contact us for our current restaurant opening hours. There are several nearby dining options including the Mazama Public House, Sandy Butte Restaurant, Jack’s Hut and Woodstone Pizza. We are also right behind the Mazama Store with its great bakery. More information on local dining is available on our website, and we’ll send an email closer to the time of your stay with an update on the current options.

INN FACILITIES

The Inn’s outdoor pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day), clubhouse lounge, tennis court, and hot tub are available free of charge for guest use. Our co-working space and private offices are available for daily, weekly and monthly fees, please see our website or contact Front Desk for more information. Our fire pit is available November through April.

OCCUPANCY

Maximum occupancy is 4.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

The Inn has four EV chargers on site: all chargers are Juicer Energy Box chargers, requiring payment via the Juicer Energy app.

PRICING

Please note that the nightly rate varies with seasons and weekdays, please enter your proposed dates for an accurate quote (some listings may show an 'average price per night' when in fact if no dates are entered this is our minimum rate, we are working with our software providers to rectify this).

GROUP BOOKINGS

Please get in touch if you would like to reserve more rooms for a group event. The Inn can accommodate up to 40 guests, and we can also book nearby cabins and vacation homes for larger groups.

We really enjoy staying at The Inn At Mazama. It was quiet and clean room with a comfortable King bed, and a quiet AC/heater. There was a nice restaurant and a grocery store nearby. It was perfect place to stay and go hiking. We will definitely go back there!

Property was lovely and views are beautiful. Walked to the brewery for a beer when we arrived and walked to the store for breakfast in the morning for coffee and bagel sandwich. Bed comfortable too. Only downside, walls are thin. Neighbor had a young baby so heard crying most of the night and in the morning.

My husband and I stayed at Mazama Inn in October. The staff was very helpful with check-in process and ensuring we had everything necessary for our stay. The rooms were well stocked with glasses, coffee, shampoo and the beds were AMAZING from a comfort point of view. We look forward to visiting again.

We were in Pine room 16 and it was spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised by an air purifier/UV filter unit which was greatly welcome since we were there during smokey conditions. We didn’t realize that the dining room was only open on weekends and only for breakfast so that is something to check before a visit. The bed was very comfortable, the refrigerator sufficiently large( no freezer compartment), great sitting area. We recommend this room.

I LOVED our sweet cozy room! It was spacious and had a fireplace and a very clean, nice, comfortable bathroom! I wish we could have stayed longer! It's even nicer than in the pictures! I want to go back!!!
